The whirlwind was heading in that direction with terrifying speed, slicing through trees as thick as a man's waist, and the whistling wind sounded like the roar of wild beasts. The rain grew heavier and more intense as if the sky had been torn open and someone was pouring water down from a basin.
The whole world seemed like the end of days, utterly terrifying.
Tang He ran over to the woman, "We need to go, quick."
"But that girl..." The woman was already drenched, glancing towards the door of the apartment block, she had just seen the girl run back inside.
Tang He couldn't worry about that now, he pulled the woman and dragged her away. Just then, a brick fell from above, smashing into the ground leaving a crater, exactly where they had just been standing.
The woman broke out in a cold sweat on her back. Tang He ushered her into the car, "Get in and take shelter for now."
