Blinking the tiredness out of her sky-blue eyes, Penny raised herself from the soft bed the elves had prepared for her. It was strange, if she was being honest Penny couldn't understand why they had such a bipolar response to her cohort. At one moment, they actively looked towards her with disdain; then, only a moment later, they were falling over themselves to help her.
Leaping from the bed with an energy she did not feel, Penny wandered across the room and looked out the window. The wayward thief had expected herself to sleep in—especially considering that this was probably the most comfortable room she had ever had the pleasure of resting in—yet Penelope had seemingly woken up early enough for the sun to still be tucked under the horizon, much like she had been just a few moments ago.
