The family was brought by Madelyn and the other family of hers to a superyacht broking; they gave greetings to each other for the first time. And even asked Ane, Rayleigh, and Isabelle to visit them on the weekend, and they'll have a family-night dinner.
Madelyn told them that it'll be done after they find the right yacht for the children, so she wanted their help to find a yacht for Isabelle and Rayleigh.
"Aren't you a little bit too much, Aunt Madelyn?" One of Madelyn's nieces chimed in, Rayleigh's cousin from her mother's side, Camilla.
Madelyn arched a brow, her gaze steady. "What do you mean, too much?" she inquired, her tone measured.
Camilla's expression was tinged with skepticism. "You're buying that woman a yacht? I mean, what if she's a gold digger? And isn't it too fast for Ray to marry her?"
Madelyn's eyes narrowed, and the maternal instinct to defend her daughter's chosen partner clearly ignited. "What do you know about Isabelle?" she asked.
