Paul Bianchi burst through the front door, his brow furrowed with concern. "What are you thinking, Cam?" he demanded, seeking out his older sister.
Camilla was already home, sitting listlessly in front of the television when the rest of the family arrived. Their father, Marco, stared at his daughter with a puzzled expression.
"What was that all about?" he asked, taking a sip from his glass of wine.
Since Madelyn only asked his sister to accompany her touring around the city and didn't ask for him, Marco Bianchi didn't bother to leave his office and was just working like usual.
Marco Bianchi is the branch manager of Madelyn's real estate company in Venice, and because of that, he was used to the well-off lifestyle it provided for his family. So when his sister-in-law requested only for his wife and children's company for a day of touring the city, Marco saw no need to disrupt his own routine as he knew Madelyn would not want anything to disturb her business.
