The little boy pushed her away and pointed at the parachute, asking what it was.
Mai Xiaomai explained it was a parachute.
She was both thirsty and hungry, and when she saw there were plenty of wild strawberries nearby, she picked a few and stuffed them into her mouth to replenish her energy.
"Are you hungry?"
The little boy asked as he looked at her.
"Mm, very hungry."
The little boy walked over to the dead wild boar, took out his knife, and plunged it into the boar's neck with force, a stream of warm blood flowed out.
He called Mai Xiaomai over to drink the blood.
Mai Xiaomai quickly shook her head.
Seeing that she would not drink, he put his mouth to the cut and sucked the blood with relish.
Mai Xiaomai watched, frightened and nauseated, so she quickly picked more strawberries and stuffed them into her mouth.
The strawberries here were all wild and tasted sweeter and better than the usual strawberries; she ate many of them, which quenched her thirst and hunger.
