Lucky for him, the space here had no such thing. To his surprise, the passage here was actually more of a corridor. The walls here had a few doors, opening into rooms. From the looks of it, there should be four rooms.
"Was this meant for people to live in?" He wondered. Before venturing further, he made sure that no rats or no other creatures had ventured inside.
"That's keeping the others outside?"
Someone had put a skeleton of a snake-like creature around the opening of the passage. The creature had clearly died a long time ago, but its bone still radiated a terrifying darkness.
To keep the rats from entering, Damon didn't disturb the skeleton. At least not now.
He stepped cautiously towards the first door, keeping an eye out around him to avoid being ambushed.
On the floor there were many pieces of remains of rodents and other small beasts. He stepped closer to the first door.
