"Mu Mian, long time no see."
Mu Mian was having a delightful chat with Gu Ran when an untimely voice intruded.
Confused, Mu Mian turned her head and saw him, Zongyu.
Mu Mian was somewhat surprised to see Zongyu here, and beside him was a beautiful and enchanting woman, Jiu Mei.
Mu Mian's eyes narrowed slightly as she propped her chin in her hands and smiled innocently at Zongyu.
"I didn't expect to see you here either. If you don't mind, why not sit down for a cup of tea?"
Mu Mian gestured for Gu Ran to sit beside her, leaving the seats across for Zongyu and Jiu Mei.
Zongyu wasn't bashful.
He took his seat directly, his face still adorned with that rascal's grin, "I heard a bit about your ordeal back then and thought you were really... gone until I saw you at the banquet recently."
