And he had. To the point that he'd been forced to press his palm over Celia's mouth to muffle her screams of rapture.
Still, he wouldn't lie with her.
Every time the two of them were alone now, their touches grew bolder and hotter. Celia was growing impatient. There was literal fire burning just under her skin, so why was he ignoring it?
She was quite sure he was as aroused as her. She could feel it when she was pressed against him, could see it in Lucas's half closed eyes and the sheen of sweat along his brow.
