Chapter 15 - 9. Unknown fame

On the television, a blue haired man clad in a black armour could be seen. The armour was heavily cracked. Blood covered his features but couldn't hide his good features.

Various News reporters surrounded him. They wanted to have a word with this fearless warrior.

The place had turned into ruins. Several cracks which ran too deep in the ground spread out showing the seriousness of a vicious battle.

Another Labyrinth had been defeated today though it didn't collapse like the previous one, this was a great feat.

Enorish answered everything with a huge grin on his face. His pride held high as a noble dragon. Though fatigue bore down heavily on him, he couldn't help but press on.

'Now the Princess will be impressed by my bravery. I can't wait to finally meet her.'

Nothing 'extraordinary' had transpired, this 'baffled' the media. They had expected abit too much it seemed. Nothingness Enorich's performance was worth noting.

☆☆☆

The Principal had appeared as a commotion started. She looked around for anything extraordinary but nothing worthy her attention.

She examined Enorish using abit of her powers but could only sigh in disappointment. He was just a young dragon with a noble bloodline in her eyes.

"Seems its still not my time to know." She looked around slightly impressed.

He had cleared a Horror Ranked Labyrinth. It was an achievement worthy nothing given his strength. The Labyrinth had powerful creatures capable of turning Cities upside down in just seconds. She left.

"Tsk. That bastard."

Hilosura felt an headache coming. Enorish was going to become more annoying than he was now that he had gained more fame.

"Some love drama, huh." Anorax couldn't help but laugh.

"No. Its just that he became annoying with his constant pestering even though I rejected him many times. Now it will become even worse." She looked at the grinning figure on the television with narrowed eyes.

"You know of the Labyrinth which collapsed recently, right?" She asked.

"Actually I don't know much about it, but I heard it wasn't normal." He said.

"It was ranked the 'lowest', a Dread rank. The most powerful creatures being Tier 2. Though ranked low, there was something which the general public didn't know." She said with a mischievous smile.

"There was a powerful creature that lived there, strong divine energy used to flow out of that Labyrinth at times, but as they creature never came out. We didn't bother with it."

"Why not remove the hidden threat near the City?" He couldn't help but ask. Medusa's body twisted slightly around his neck.

"Well a fight with it would leave the City and nearly everyone annihilated. Beings which weird divine energy are terrifying. Most are closer to Godhood, or worse it was already in that realm."

"What terrified everyone was its powerful 'influence'. Many willingly knelt. We were all affected. I could feel my body reacting luckily mother stopped me."

'What the fuck! Shit. Luckily nothing links up to me.'

She was looking at him attentively but his composure remained the same through and through.

'Maybe I was wrong.'

"I will attend but don't expect much." He stood up and started leaving. His business here was done.

After he left, a woman materialised behind Hilosura.

"He has a very powerful 'pet'." She commented in amusement looking at the woman who appeared shocked.

"Honestly I wouldn't have noticed that golden snake but its as if it willingly revealed itself to me. And that snake is not normal." The woman said.

"I couldn't even sense its presence all along. He definitely knows what I was talking about but he acted clueless. We need to get him on our side no matter what." She said with determination. The man walked with hidden mysteries.

"He has disappeared again, Princess." The woman said in shock.

Today they had made sure to track down his movements but he disappeared just like that without trace.

"Let him be. He has agreed to attend that's morethan enough."

She said walking out of the room elegantly.

I stared at the ceiling in silence. I don't know if I was going through alot or alot was going through me.

I had unknowingly formed a friendship with a True Goddess. One who was so ancient and powerful that I couldn't see through her.

Currently Medusa here though a powerful Goddess here, her true body was something my current self couldn't even dare to come close to.

I have come to understand something terrifying that gave me goosebumps that I am now more cautious than before.

If Medusa has an avatar on Urax, didn't this also mean other True Gods had some here. I am bound to make enemies out of some, sadly am too weak and I need allies.

Hilosura is a smart woman. She is good but I don't trust nobles. They only seek benefits.

But let's see after meeting the Dragon Empress.

The Academy is also an enigma. I know you are wondering why I want to go to that place. Some might say 'your better off alone' or 'stop wasting you time', hehe, your right but there I will grow further. That place is not these normal academies you read in those novels.

What Lisaria told me is that, the Academy held history of when the first beings came into existence.

The Cosmos is too big with billions of Universes. Universes die and are replaced.

Medusa sat on a queen sized bed in her room. Her thoughts were messy. She had managed to locate the other two avatars.

One of them was dead. This made her furious. She wanted to use the two avatars to purify her bloodline. The action wasn't wrong as they shared the same consciousness.

The avatar had been killed recently. She saw the last memories. A gigantic dragon had striked when her guard had dropped.

They had fought 4 days and nights straight. Their bodies were covered in heavy wounds.

Medusa swiftly located the planet's location. She needed something from the corpse.

She appeared in Anorax's room. There he was, engrossed in his thoughts.

Anorax was surprised to see her in his room. Though he frowned. Her expression was cold and detached.

"There is a lizard I have an unfinished business with. Am going there now, mind if you come along." She walked towards him.

He stood up and embraced her. The space around them twisted and they disappeared.

☆☆☆

Unknown location.

The sky was dark. Half of the planet's life had been sucked out. The forests were dry and animals lifeless.

A deadly and lethal energy covered half of the planet. It sucked out life from anything it touched.

Two figures appeared in the sky. A woman and a man. They looked at the apocalyptic destruction with indifference.

"Go on the otherside, you will find their my other 'body'. Also that lizard stores there its treasures, make sure to milk it dry." Medusa said coldly her eyes matched with indifference.

He hugged her and nodded. He had already seen her as a friend. She would have came alone but she didn't.

"Be careful and make sure you come back alive." He said seriously letting go.

She snorted but a small smile appeared on her face. She sent him away.

Now alone her expression became icy. Her gaze landed on the huge dark sphere on the ground. A golden wipe appeared in her hand.

The space twisted and energy churned in its presence. It gave off a suffocating pressure that pressed down heavily on everything below.

She limited its power no to affect the whole planet as Anorax was here.

Boooom!!

A golden wipe elongated and struck the sphere heavily. It was blasted into pieces.

"Who dares!!"

A powerful voice boomed. The planet shook.

A gigantic black dragon the size of a continent hovered in the sky. Its gaze landed on Medusa.

"Huh? Didn't you die bitch? I made sure of it, what do you-"

The space around them twisted. Both appeared in the void.

"You talk too much for a lizard." She said in an icy tone.

"You bitch!!"

Swoosh

It struck its huge tail towards her. The tail moved so fast. She appeared above its huge body and struck down.

Boom

Back scales flew off. A powerful blow followed, her hand was covered in divine energy. Its movement was a blur.

Boom

Rooaaar!!!

It roared in rage. Its body heat up. A crimson beam shot at her.

A powerful barrier appeared before the beam could reach. She teleported at its back.

It's attention still on the barrier before it. Its instinct kicked in and it flew away at a sonic speed.

A golden wipe struck where it had been. A huge spatial tear appeared but immediately closed.

"Tsk."

She struck again. Missed. Again. They moved at supersonic speeds that there figures blurred. They became flashes.
