Synopsis
Oak woke up in the thousand beasts mountain range, confused at his reincarnation, and his past life's memories coming back to him. The world was not safe if his location was any indication, and the fact that cultivation was the main theme of this world made his awakened self face palm. But at least in this life, he can make up for past desires of his monotone life with only having some brief color at the end of it. A/N: Just so you guys know, this has a similar theme of novels like Journey of the Fate destroying emperor, Reverend insanity, and Er gen novels. I'm not a new author if you look at my profile, and the reason I stopped was because I was dissatisfied with my previous skills. Now I feel that they are at a good level, and I hopefully will try to go back to those novels I started and bring them back to life. Also the mentioned books above are really good so you should check them out. There will be no harem there will be only 2 wives and i already have a idea on what they are. Also like the first 5-8 chapters are a little rough but it does get better once i got the flow of the story down. I will try to get 5 chapters a week. I also will always get at least 1000 words every single chapter.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Awakening

In an endless mountain chain that stretched beyond sight a strange sight of a young 14 year old covered in the blood of beast's and there broken bodies surrounding him but strangly his eyes emerald in color were unfocused and dulled.

His hair was short and dirty brown, clearly having not groomed himself. This man's name was Oak. Slowly, his eyes regained clarity, and the air around seemed to vibrate. The clearer his eyes, the more violent it was till it suddenly stopped.

'Reincarnation?....'

Oak then started to move around, doing light movements to test his body. But it showed perfect control from running to jumping and even harder tests like practicing martial arts. More importantly, the memories he had were like he personally experienced them. Not like a soul just jumping into a body like the novels he read.

'Did I awaken my past memories and did around 80 years of living just overwrite the memories of this life?' He then remembered where he was.

'This location is not safe. I'm in the thousand beasts mountain range. There should be a nearby cave that I stayed in.'

Knowing the location, Oak ran away because he knew bigger and stronger animals would show up after that blood bath he caused. But he made a quick detour and jumped into a river to wash away the blood. Then silently and quickly ran to the cave.

After getting there, he moved a rock that was bigger than an adult from the entrance, then moved it back to block the cave entrance. He walked a bit in and lit a torch.

His room was on the bigger side. There was a bed, table, make shift stove, and a box to store his stuff. Oak walked in and sat on his bed. Going through all his memories.

Oak was located in the realm called the lower realm. There were 2 higher realms, but the people and beings there are quite literally gods compared to anything in the lower realm. This plane he was on was only medium-sized. It was called Wild Fire plane. From oaks memories it was at least 3 times the size of earth if he did the math right.

Oak himself was in deep trouble. His family was justifiably sick of him. He was an arrogant brat that was a martial nut. This made worse because he wasn't able to awaken an immortal root. He didn't even have a good bone structure even though he was from a martial arts family. This, as well as his pride, made for a terrible situation.

Simply put he was accused if rape becuase of a vindictive bitch. Becuase of his martial nut and arrogant status made it hard for anyone to believe that she was lying. This all could have been solved by apologies, but Oak refused. After all, he didn't do anything wrong, but that's when his father slapped him, then his mom. Then, he started to berate him, digging up all little instances of him in the wrong, which was why they didn't trust him

For example, he once beat a kid for calling him names. Another was when a Crafty Fox stole his food right in front of his face, so he snapped its neck. Immediately some girl started crying because he did this in public and that fox was her pet she just got. Later he went to go find another fox for her becuase he felt bad to which he came across a beast killing there cattle to which he nearly beat to death and sustaining sever injuries but was later blamed of killing the cattle becuase of the crafty vindictive bitch.

'Wait, my past life's greatest regret was his boring life and bottles up feelings. So, was the reason for my arrogance in this life because of this? Hmmp, Im not going back to that place unless it's vital.'

With that oak, I started to think about his situation. Currently, he was in the thousand beasts mountain chain, which was about the size of Australia. This place was the home of mortal beasts and evovled beasts.

Currently, his martial level was rank 4, which meant he was as strong as about 8 men. Martial arts was a weaker version of immortal cultivation. In both cases bone structure and immortal root was very important. Immortal root allowed for assimilation of Qi and the bone structure with enough training and food can absorb qi and turn it to Ki. Even if they don't have a immortal root.

Now Oak was in a bad situation his bone structure was average, and he had no immortal root. His family name was Rex. His family was prominent but was more in the higher middle section. They listened only to a few power sects and familes around them. They had the tyrannical beast bone, which was inherited from their ancestors. There isn't much of a difference in status between Qi and Ki cultivators.

'Wait, an immortal root is awakend or born in a few ways. First, you're born with it. If either of your parents has the root or bone structure, the kid is more likely to have it.'

Oak was truly an unlucky soul to not have a root or bone structure.

'The root can be luckily awawkend or created of a spiritually enlightening event happens. Think witness a meteor shower, supernova anything deep having the right time and place or more accurately remeber 80 years of your past life.'

Oak smiled wildly and started to set up the Immortal Root sensing ceremony. It's not a diffcult ceremony you just need to know the nature merging diagram then materials like tree bark, leaves and such and some Qi and Ki stones which Oak had a a pinky sized Qi stone. There is not much you can do with it. So wouldn't amount to any greed if anyone had it. In fact, you would be ridiculed for being a hobo if you casually mentioned that was all to your name.

Oak stood on a perfectly inscribed circle. In fact, it looked like a piece of art.

'While this life had shitty drawing skills, I liked drawing more than even being a biochemist.'

With that, he sat in the middle of the formation cross-legged closed his eyes and started to meditation. Too bad minutes passed but he couldn't get into it. He just had a lot on his mind that he wouldn't to suppress.

Sensing this he got up and simply lazed around the rest of the day so he could calm down. Though even that was a bit annoying.

Currently his martial cultivation art was the raging tyrant. It was a technique that focused on the body's defense, attack, and stamina. This was rather weird becuase it originally had only defense and attack but it seemed his past life slipped through a few times.

The raging tyrant art was quite masochistic as it required you to be beaten to a inch of your life then you need to eat the animals you killed. This happens becuase the Ki that regular animals got was far greater then a human. But that wasn't all you then had to train there 12 martial strikes that destroyed your body in which the Ki you got would slowly go into your bones and musleces.

Oak without his memories seemed to have guided this process by vague hints of his previous memories.
