Chapter 3886 - 3886

Chapter 3886: Supplying Energy

The undead servants took action, wiping out all the mechas, fighter jets, warships, and fortresses that couldn't escape, leaving not a single one behind.

Lin Moyu glanced at his karmic threads, understanding that he had now formed karma with these technological worlds. To resolve this karma would likely require a true battle one where either he or they would fall. Sometimes, hatred is just that simple. Lin Moyu never intended to provoke them; all he wanted was the gate. Even when they attacked him, he only counterattacked at the most basic level. But now, things had changed.

Still, this wasn't urgent. The most important thing now was the gate. The gate needed vast energy, and he had to find a way to supply it.

With a wave, he stored the gate in his soul world and began infusing it with soul power. Lin Moyu's soul power was endless as long as he didn't act recklessly, he didn't need to worry about running dry.

As soul power poured in, the gate glowed faintly, and three halos appeared at its base. Two of the halos shone brightly and were solid, meaning the gate already had two tenths of the required energy. The third halo had just appeared and was still very faint. Only when this third halo also shone and solidified would the gate have three tenths of its energy.

Despite the continuous infusion of soul power, the third halo barely changed. Lin Moyu wasn't surprised. The Lord of Hell had used Great Dao power, accumulating over countless years, to get the gate to three tenths energy. His own soul power was barely a drop in the ocean.

He summoned a hundred undead servants and instructed them to channel their power into the gate. The third halo glowed a bit brighter than before, but only slightly. The power of a hundred undead servants should have far surpassed the Lord of Hell's, but progress was still slow.

No matter if a hundred undead servants weren't enough, then a thousand, ten thousand, even a million or a billion would do. Lin Moyu's goal was to supply the gate with energy as quickly as possible and open it. Everything else was secondary.

In the soul world, more and more undead servants appeared soon surpassing a hundred million. Over a hundred million undead servants poured Dao Lord level power into the gate like a tsunami. The third halo finally began to brighten, but at this rate, it would still take a long time to fully solidify.

Lin Moyu sensed something was wrong. Adding more undead servants did speed things up, but not in proportion. From a hundred to a hundred million was a million fold increase, but the speed of energy infusion was at most ten times faster. At this rate, it would take thousands or even tens of thousands of years to solidify the third halo.

He realized this was already much faster than the Lord of Hell, but still not fast enough for his needs.

He kept increasing the number, going straight to ten billion undead servants. The speed increased a bit more now about twenty times the original speed but it would still take thousands of years.

Cutting the time from ten thousand to five thousand years made little difference to Lin Moyu. He realized that simply increasing the number would yield diminishing returns; even if he used all his trillion undead servants, the effect might not double again.

"Could it be that quantity isn't the key? Then what is?"

He pondered for a while, then remembered that the gate had been drifting in the world mist for ages, accumulating two halos in the process. In terms of accumulation speed, it seemed even faster than his ten billion undead servants.

And what did the world mist have? Great Dao power all kinds of Great Dao power.

A flash of insight struck him. He issued a new command: the undead servants should use different Great Dao powers.

Immediately, a dazzling display of all kinds of Great Dao power lit up the soul world. The third halo brightened significantly, and the speed of energy infusion increased tenfold, compressing the time to under a thousand years.

Lin Moyu smiled. "So that's how it is."

He realized the gate didn't just need vast energy though that was the foundation it also needed variety. It required many different types of power. The more diverse the energies, the better the effect.

The undead servants channeled nearly every Great Dao power from the Myriad Worlds into the gate, and the speed of energy replenishment increased by several hundred times.

Inspired, Lin Moyu called out, "Little Tree…"

Little Tree appeared with a ball of light. "Master, what do you need?"

Lin Moyu said, "Use your power to supply energy to this gate."

"Okay!"

Without hesitation, Little Tree extended a branch and touched the gate.

With a hum, the third halo solidified at a speed more than ten times faster than before. At this rate, it would take less than a hundred years to fully solidify the third halo enough to open the gate at the primary stage.

But Lin Moyu wasn't satisfied with just that. Many people in the Origin Continent needed both the Shatian Stone and the Undying Gem. Of the two, the Shatian Stone was more important; the Undying Gem could be replaced by other treasures, but not the Shatian Stone.

According to the Lord of Hell, he'd only obtained one Shatian Stone and one Undying Gem, while the Human Emperor had gotten more, meaning the stage at which the gate was opened affected the rewards.

So Lin Moyu's best outcome would be to open the gate fully. If that wasn't possible, then at least open it at the advanced stage like the Human Emperor. Only then could he be sure of getting enough Shatian Stones.

Beyond the treasures, he also wanted to explore the world beyond the gate. Once he learned there were different opening stages, he suspected that only a full opening would reveal the true nature of the world behind the gate.

So, reaching the primary stage in under a hundred years was only barely acceptable not perfect.

With a thought, Lin Moyu drew upon the power of Bone Hell. The undead servants could use nearly every Great Dao in the Myriad Worlds, but there were a few they couldn't Bone Hell was one of them. Bone Hell wasn't tied to any Great Dao; it was an independent region, the cycle of reincarnation for the Myriad Worlds, filled with energy completely opposite to the Myriad Worlds.

The Myriad Worlds represented life, with death within life. Bone Hell represented death, with vitality within death.

The power of Bone Hell was summoned, turning into flames that poured into the gate. The third halo's solidification speed increased again now it would take less than fifty years to finish.

Lin Moyu smiled even wider, feeling great: "First, solidify the third halo and qualify to open the gate then I'll think about the rest!"
