"Would you like a piece of cake?" Shen Yi led Ye Wanwan to the side and stopped, looking at the exquisitely prepared desserts on the table, asking her in a soft voice.
Ye Wanwan was utterly confused by Shen Yi's actions tonight, her mind preoccupied with trying to figure out what he was up to, leaving her no appetite for cake.
Yet Shen Yi appeared completely indifferent, "It looks delicate, why not try and see how it tastes?"
As he spoke, Shen Yi had already picked up a piece of cake and brought it to Ye Wanwan's mouth with a small fork.
Ye Wanwan didn't want to eat, but since Shen Yi had already brought it to her lips, she opened her mouth subconsciously.
"How does it taste?" Shen Yi asked softly.
Ye Wanwan nodded her head, "It's okay."
"Then finish it?" Shen Yi pushed the plate towards Ye Wanwan.
Ye Wanwan took the plate, only then did she hear a shrill scream coming from the banquet hall, startling her involuntarily.
