"That's good." Penny nodded approvingly, holding two papers in both hands and glancing between them. "This is looking good. Have you made contact with the company?"
Teddy, seated on the long chair, nodded. "I've already arranged an appointment with them. Would you like to attend?"
"Me?" She chuckled. "No, it's fine. I trust you'll negotiate properly. If they don't agree with our terms, then drop them."
"Yes." He lowered his head, avoiding her gaze, as she was still in her pajamas.
Penny studied him for a moment before speaking. "Are you sure you're going to be fine with this? Or should I send Hayley with you to the meeting?"
"I can handle it," he replied. "The people I'm going to meet might be from my past, but that doesn't faze me at all."
He paused and looked her in the eye. "You told me to kick their ass, and I'm planning to do that. Not physically, but with this deal."
