"You should rest more!" Alric placed Nora on the bed gently and left the room. Nora frowned. She looked at her torn clothes and sighed. Alric had prepared this dress special for her. She was going to cherish it and now it was all torn.
Her earring fell somewhere too. He had given it to her. The door was opened again and Alric returned with some warm soup.
"I saw that you did not eat much in the event." he smiled at her sweetly. It only made her guiltier as he sat beside her on the bed and picked up a spoonful of soup and blew on it.
"The dress is torn!" she whined, making him pause. Looking at her distressed face, he was speechless. The girl could have died. From the start, she did not speak much about the accident and now.. She was worried about the dress.
"I will bring you another one! Many of them." he promised and she touched her ears from her right hand.
"The earring fell too." she bit her lips as if to stop herself from crying over it. Alric felt at a loss of words.
