Around 12 in the afternoon, friend decided to take his leave from Megan's apartment. She hugged him goodbye and thanked him for being a great friend before. He finally got to get a step out of the door. On the way, he decided to take a little roundabout to work and stop for groceries. At least something that would get him by for the next week, and he won't have to take too much trouble ordering from outside or go for the expensive deliveries.
In the end, he ended up buying almost everything. Most of it was restocking anyway, because he had to throw out the stuff he had in his kitchen earlier that was brought along by Sophia. That could not be used anymore, and he had lost a track of their expiry dates.
Since it was daylight, it was much safer to walk around with bags full of groceries.
Walter's son, Danny, was sitting at the reception again. Brandon offered him a nod and got a lazy one back in return.
