Then, she saw Izara walking in her direction.
"You should leave here as soon as possible," the girl ordered.
Anastasia sized Izara up. She seemed like a girl in her late teens, which was strange given the king and queen's age.
Anastasia had a good guess about how the twins came to be, but she chose to keep that thought to herself.
"Why?" She simply asked.
Anastasia recalled how, just the day before, the girl had glared at her with such ferocity it seemed like she might stab her if a knife had been within reach.
"But you have to if you value your life. It's that simple," Izara replied, her tone cold and unyielding.
