After finishing taking a warm shower, Muyao decided to head downstairs and have one of the kitchen chefs cook some easy food for her to eat
When passing by the living room, Muyao saw her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, father, mother, two elder brothers, and her elder sister sitting on the sofa and chairs silently. After analyzing them for a while, Muyao finally realizes that they are all waiting for her
'Huh? Why are they waiting for me? What did I do wrong this time? But I don't remember causing any big trouble these few days, or is it that I forget?' Muyao questions herself, thinking of a bunch of reasons why her whole family is waiting for her
Once Muyao's inner voice sounds appear in the quiet living room, the entire Lin family freezes and then stares at Xuexing with a confused face
Welp, it all begins with Xuexing finding out that she can hear her daughter Yaoyao's inner voice to begin with so to test if she's the only one who can hear Muyao's inner voice, she calls her husband, Lin Anguo with an emergency voice then she does the same to the rest of the Lin family and Xia family. As a man who loves his wife more than his work, Zhening rushes home 15 minutes after Xuexing's phone call and the rest of the family arrives 30 minutes after the phone call. Once they all arrive at the Lin family's villa, they all sit on the living room sofa and chairs, waiting for Xuexing to say the emergency she mentioned in the phone call,s but Xuexing only says to wait for Muyao to come downstairs and start
"Yaoyao, did you miss your grandpa? Grandpa missed you so much," Muyao's grandpa, Lin Helin says, breaking the silence
"I miss you, too, Grandpa, but what are you all doing here today?" Muyao asks the entire family in confusion
Muyao's oldest cousin, Lin Boyuan, is just about to say that they can all hear Muyao's voice, but just as he wants to say it, his voice suddenly stops as if something is forbidding them from saying it to Muyao
Muyao stood there looking at Lin Boyuan in confusion because she saw his mouth open and about to say something,g but nothing came out
Xuexing notices Boyuan's reaction, to cover the confusion silence she tells Muyao, "We are discussing which company you should enter now that you've graduated from college."
'Why do I need to go to work? Don't I have two elder brothers and an elder sister to take care of the companies? Why do I have to go to a company and work? Can't I just stay home and be my lazy gossip little girl?! I thought that choosing a physics major in college would allow me to get over work after graduating from college, but why must I go to wor?k Muyao whines in her inner voice
However, that's only in her inner voice; what the entire family sees is Muyao standing there smiling. All of the family felt like it was a relief for them to be able to hear Muyao's inner voice or else they wouldn't know what Muyao's truly thinking about, but this relief would be a regret for all of them in the future (it will explain why in the future chapter)
"Ummm, I just graduated from college, can't I have a rest for a couple of months before going to work?" Muyao asks her family with pitiful eyes
"You've stayed home for half a year already after graduating from college, that's a longer graduation break than your siblings and cousins. It's time for you to face society alone. Now I'll give you an option of either you choose your career pathway or we will have you enter a random company under the Lin Group." Xuexing replied, frowning at Muyao, while the rest of the family members stayed quiet
It's not that they want to decline Xuexing's words, but they all think that if Muyao enters society, she won't be able to stay in a career for too long, adding on Muyao is a preterm birth which made Muyao's health weaker than normal people though Muyao is able to hop, skip, jump, and hype around but Muyao isn't this healthy when she's little, it's only these few years that Muyao's health has become better. This is also the reason why the entire family all pampered Muyao, the youngest child of the Lin family and Xia family all the siblings and cousins felt like it's their responsibility to take care of Lin Muyao.
