After merging with Vegeta, the one in control was naturally the reincarnated Alex. However, he was still influenced by some of Vegeta's memories.
For the current Vegeta, Nappa had been with him since they were young. While Saiyans are generally indifferent to emotions, it doesn't mean they lack feelings altogether.
Given that the new Vegeta was quite different from his past self, he didn't intend to kill Nappa, if possible. After all, the Saiyan race had dwindled to so few, and Nappa was not only a loyal subordinate but also one with decent abilities and potential. Keeping him around could prove valuable.
However, if Nappa wanted to survive, he absolutely couldn't follow the same path as in the original story. He needed to either redeem himself and join the protagonist group or obediently follow orders without causing major issues.
"Understood!"
Sensing the threat in Vegeta's eyes, Nappa quickly bowed his head.
Nappa couldn't help but feel confused. Vegeta seemed different somehow. It wasn't his appearance that had changed but his aura and something inexplicable—yet distinctly different.
But even though he sensed a change in Vegeta, Nappa wouldn't dare question it. Vegeta's longstanding authority left no room for challenge.
"First, we need to find the ones who killed Raditz. Don't forget our purpose for coming here!"
"And remember, we're here to find those mystical Dragon Balls that can grant any wish!"
At Vegeta's reminder, Nappa seemed to wake from a daze, a look of surprise and excitement crossing his face.
"Follow me!"
Without further words, Vegeta didn't even bother activating his scouter. He flew straight toward the location where he sensed "strong" energy.
"Oh!"
Seeing Vegeta's sudden movement, Nappa hesitated for a moment before quickly following, not forgetting to activate his scouter to measure power levels along the way.
He noticed that Vegeta was heading toward an area with several high power levels, which surprised him.
"There are beings here with power levels over a thousand, and more than one of them!"
"Nothing to worry about, and those aren't even their true strengths. But no matter what, they won't be my match."
Hearing Nappa's astonished voice, Vegeta responded calmly, his words filled with confidence and arrogance.
"Right, of course!"
Listening to Vegeta's confident tone, Nappa also felt it was only natural.
As Vegeta and Nappa boldly departed, East City residents who had narrowly escaped death were left in confusion.
Before long, the area where the small spacecraft had landed was surrounded and taken over by the police. A crowd of people eagerly described Vegeta and Nappa to the officers. Naturally, Vegeta, who had already left, wasn't aware of this. Even if he knew, he wouldn't care.
After all, though Vegeta might eventually settle on Earth, the inhabitants would still be from a world apart from his, not worth his concern.

Meanwhile, at Kame House, Bulma and her friends were gathered around, watching the news on TV. Seeing the footage of two small spaceships and hearing the vivid descriptions from eyewitnesses, Master Roshi and the others realized the Saiyans had finally arrived on Earth.
"The enemy is finally here!"
Recalling Raditz's immense strength from nearly a year ago and the warnings from the Supreme Kai, Master Roshi was filled with tension and fear.
"Let's go support them! The scouters will show us where they are!"
But Bulma, true to her bold nature in the Dragon Ball world, wasn't afraid. Instead, she wanted to be on the scene, cheering for the Dragon Ball warriors.
"I'd rather die than go there!"
The timid Oolong, however, was full of fear and resistance.
"I want to go too! I bet Yamcha will be there!"
Even though she was scared, Puar, the blue, cat-like creature, showed determination in her eyes.
"No, we can't go. The gap in strength is too great. We'd only get in their way. It's better if we stay here and pray for them."
After some inner struggle, Master Roshi finally spoke with a pained expression.
He had once been called the Martial Arts Master by the world, but now that Earth faced real danger, he couldn't do anything to help. This feeling of helplessness tormented him deeply.
"That's true..."
Hearing Master Roshi's words, Bulma calmed down. Although she was a bit unwilling, she ultimately bowed her head in resignation.
Seeing that everyone else had decided not to go, Oolong also nodded vigorously, feeling a huge sense of relief. He had no intention of dying here.
---
"Ha ha ha, this is great! The gravity on this planet is so low; I can move more freely!"
As they flew, Nappa quickly adapted to Earth's gravity, noting that it was much lighter compared to most planets he had been on. This made him feel very relaxed and comfortable.
But Vegeta wasn't paying attention to Nappa. He was quietly focusing on his own growth.
From the moment he decided to extract Nappa's potential, the enhancement and improvements had been steady. Vegeta's power level was increasing steadily.
Moreover, perhaps due to the increase in Saiyan blood purity, Vegeta felt he was undergoing a strange transformation. The most direct manifestation was the overall improvement in his physical capabilities, including a continuous increase in his energy reserves.
Images of ancient Super Saiyans began to flash vaguely in his mind. This feeling was very peculiar and unique.
And these memories didn't come from Vegeta or his past life; they were memories embedded in his very bloodline!
However, perhaps because the combined Saiyan blood of himself and the augmented Nappa was still relatively limited, the increase in blood concentration hadn't reached a critical point.
This made the images in Vegeta's mind fragmented and somewhat blurry.
