I saw my husband swinging his sword against his personal confidant. Arnold and Amiro's movements were sharper and deadlier. I raised my palm and saw the calluses and cuts on my palm.
I get these from wielding different weapons. I raise my cup and sip my coffee. It's already ten in the morning, but those two were still enjoying their practice as if they didn't start two hours ago.
"My lady, here's your bread," Mimi says. I turn around and look at her, smiling. "Thanks, Mimi," I replied.
She smiled, yet she's still here. "Is there a problem, Mimi?" I ask, staring at her.
She takes a deep breath and grabs something inside her uniform's pocket. It's a small envelope. "I was buying our supplies in the market earlier when Lady Marina approached me. She wants me to give this to you, Your Grace," Mimi explains.
I know she is worried that I'll get mad at her. "I see. Thank you, Mimi. You can go back inside. Don't worry. I'm not mad at you," I stated.
