Although the first Six Paths-level existence Naruto met was the Sage of Six Paths, he couldn't help but feel that Gensou had left a much deeper impression on him.
After personally experiencing Gensou's overwhelming power—facing three top-tier opponents alone with absolute dominance—Naruto had subconsciously associated everything about the Six Paths' level with him. The white robe, the Truth-Seeking Orbs—these had all become symbols of Gensou in his mind.
Even though the Sage of Six Paths, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, and Toneri Ōtsutsuki all shared similar appearances, Naruto still instinctively used Gensou as the benchmark.
Thus, when the Konoha shinobi in the Hokage's office asked about the Sage of Six Paths, the name they heard most often was actually "Hagoromo Gensou."
"So, just who exactly is Hagoromo Gensou?" Orochimaru finally voiced the question on everyone's mind, his tone full of curiosity.
Naruto wasn't in the mood to argue with Orochimaru over this.
His expression grew serious as he looked at everyone and said,
"Hagoromo Gensou… is the strongest enemy in my world. To fight against him, the Five Great Shinobi Villages, along with the entire shinobi world, united for the first time, forming the Allied Shinobi Forces."
"Wait! Naruto, am I understanding this correctly? The Five Great Villages, with tens of thousands of shinobi, joined forces… just to deal with a single person?" Nara Shikaku asked in disbelief.
"More or less. The primary target was Gensou alone."
Naruto glanced at Fugaku Uchiha among the crowd, hesitating for a moment. Some things didn't need to be revealed just yet.
"And what was the result?" Hiruzen Sarutobi asked, his expression solemn.
Naruto thought back to the scenes of the battlefield he had witnessed. He lowered his head slightly and shook it.
"The result… wasn't good."
Silence fell over the room.
Everyone present knew the strength of the Five Great Shinobi Villages.
No one had ever imagined that a single person could take on the entire shinobi world and seemingly have the upper hand.
"That's ridiculous! Even the Five Kage combined wouldn't be able to reach that level," a younger Asuma frowned.
No matter how strong a person was, sheer numbers should be enough to overwhelm them.
Even his father, the so-called "Strongest Hokage," would struggle against a group of twenty elite jōnin, let alone tens of thousands.
Asuma simply couldn't imagine such a being existing.
"There have been people like that before—like the First Hokage," Orochimaru suddenly spoke up.
He turned to Naruto with curiosity. "How does Gensou compare to the First Hokage?"
Naruto had never personally seen Hashirama Senju in battle.
But he didn't even need to think about it—he shook his head.
"There's no comparison. Even the so-called 'Ancestor of Chakra' couldn't defeat Gensou, let alone anyone else."
The Ancestor of Chakra?
A new name had suddenly been introduced.
Who could possibly be referred to as the "Ancestor of Chakra"?
Everyone's faces were filled with surprise and curiosity.
Only the Nine-Tails within Kushina's seal seemed to realize something.
Its eyes flickered with fear.
"The Ancestor of Chakra has returned?!"
Kurama knew exactly what that meant.
The Ten-Tails had been reborn!
"Kurama?"
Kushina sensed the change in her tailed beast's emotions and turned to Naruto.
"Naruto, explain in detail."
Naruto never thought that one day, he, a self-proclaimed academic failure, would be the one explaining the history of the shinobi world to a room full of intelligent minds.
But since his mother asked, he would do his best.
And so, Naruto began recounting the story he had heard from the Sage of Six Paths.
Since he couldn't project images like the Sage, he instead used Shadow Clones and Transformation Jutsu to depict Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, Hamura Ōtsutsuki, and other legendary figures.
Finally, the grand finale arrived—the moment Gensou took center stage, surpassing them all.
"Not bad."
Outside the window, Gensou watched Naruto's performance.
Naruto had managed to capture his demeanor quite well.
Since there was no need for him to step in, he decided to simply continue watching.
Just like when he used to watch ants carrying food—if he had nothing better to do, he could watch them all day.
...
—Inside the Hokage's office.
After finishing his dramatic storytelling, Naruto once again fell into silence.
Everyone present was digesting the history of the shinobi world that had been hidden from them.
For the first time, the truth was laid bare before them.
The Ancestor of Chakra, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
Her sons, the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, and Hamura Ōtsutsuki.
The battle between mother and sons.
The birth of the shinobi religion.
The Ten-Tails.
The Infinite Tsukuyomi.
All of these events had shaken the very foundation of the shinobi world, yet they had only happened in Naruto's world.
And most importantly—what left the strongest impression—was the name of a man who, despite being a living mortal, had surpassed even the Sage of Six Paths and Kaguya.
Hagoromo Gensou.
"How has someone like Gensou never been heard of in our world?" someone asked.
Fugaku Uchiha's eyes gleamed with thought before he spoke.
"Gensou… he must be from the Hagoromo Clan."
Naruto nodded repeatedly. "Yeah, that's the one. You guys don't know him? Back in the Warring States era, he stood alongside the First Hokage and Madara Uchiha as the 'Three Great Legends.' People even called him a man who stood on equal footing with the gods."
Thinking back, that nickname wasn't wrong at all.
Gensou was no longer just someone who stood equal to gods—he was essentially a true god now.
But when the others heard Naruto's words, they exchanged confused glances.
"The Three Great Legends? Never heard of that."
"The only ones who've been passed down in history are the First Hokage and Madara Uchiha."
"No one named Gensou has ever been mentioned in the shinobi world."
Everyone was at a loss.
Hiruzen thought carefully but couldn't recall ever hearing of anyone exceptional from the Hagoromo Clan.
Naruto was surprised.
Could it be that this world didn't have a Hagoromo Gensou?
"It seems like Naruto's world is similar to ours but ultimately different. And the future… will be different as well," Nara Shikaku analyzed.
Many people nodded in agreement.
Naruto's world was terrifying.
Honestly, no one here wanted to go through such a disaster.
At least now, they could relax.
Since there was no Gensou in this world, all those nightmare-inducing calamities wouldn't happen.
Just as Hiruzen and many others were sighing in relief—
Suddenly!
Minato Namikaze's expression turned extremely serious as he looked at Naruto and asked:
"Naruto, earlier you said, 'After a battle, we ended up here,' correct?"
Naruto thought for a moment.
He had said that earlier.
So he nodded.
Minato's fingers trembled slightly as he slowly said:
"So… it's not just you who arrived in this world? Gensou came too?"
As his words fell—
The expressions of every shinobi who had just relaxed instantly froze.
And when Naruto nodded and confirmed:
"Gensou isn't the only one—Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and the Sage of Six Paths came too! That's exactly why I'm here, to warn you all!"
Boom!
Like a sudden bolt of lightning—
Everyone's hearts trembled violently.
