Chapter 369 - Chapter 370

The moment Gensou opened his eyes, he knew he hadn't returned to his original world.

He was now standing in a small town.

Unlike before, he didn't fall from the sky or cause any major commotion.

He simply appeared on a street in the small town.

There weren't many people on the street.

But those who noticed Gensou's sudden appearance should have shown curiosity, shock, or even fear and concern.

Unexpectedly.

After a glance, they shifted their gaze away, either lazily continuing their rest or hurrying along with farming tools toward the fields outside the town.

It was as if the townspeople were divided into two types — either exceptionally hardworking or exceptionally lazy.

But there was one thing they all had in common.

Peace!

An extraordinary sense of peace!

The entire town was devoid of any noise or clamor.

Even when the lazy ones and the diligent ones crossed paths, they laughed and chatted pleasantly.

It looked like some sort of utopia.

However, this idyllic scene was only true if one ignored the towering trees surrounding the town, whose thick branches hung with countless human cocoons.

Gensou had noticed these enormous trees, taller than the town's walls, the moment he arrived.

He was far too familiar with them.

After all, he had created something like this himself before.

Gensou raised his head to look at the sky.

Although it was daytime, the moon was still visible, its outline clear.

The light of the Infinite Tsukuyomi had already faded.

But the claws of Divine Tree World Creation still spread across the entire planet.

This was a world where the Infinite Tsukuyomi had succeeded!

"Has this world's Kaguya already broken free?"

Gensou slowly lowered his gaze from the moon.

The reason he was sure this wasn't Kaguya's previous era was not only because of the town's architectural style and the villagers' attire, which resembled the Shinobi Era.

But also because of the people themselves.

Though Kaguya had released some humans during her rule to let them reproduce and create more soldiers, no one back then would have felt happiness.

The people in this town, however, seemed to be living contentedly, completely unbothered by the countless living cocoons hanging outside.

Gensou turned his gaze toward a hurried passerby.

Since he had doubts, he decided to ask the locals.

He reached out and placed his five fingers firmly on the passerby's head.

At the same time.

A thousand miles away, Naruto stood dumbfounded, staring at the towering Divine Tree stretching up into the heavens. Its thick roots covered the ground, hanging countless human cocoons wrapped in white bandages.

"This is the world of Infinite Tsukuyomi!"

Naruto quickly ran to the nearest row of cocoons and tore the bandages apart.

"Lee!"

"Kakashi-sensei!"

"Sakura!"

"Sasuke!!!"

"Huh? This face looks familiar... Oh right! That's me!"

Naruto scratched his head as he looked at the familiar face he had just freed. He hadn't expected to meet another version of himself.

It looked like he had reached yet another new world.

Except, in this world, the other Naruto had been utterly defeated.

Naruto stared at the cocooned "Naruto."

The figure inside was covered in blood.

Even while under the Infinite Tsukuyomi, his face was etched with defiance, fury, and a relentless desire to fight.

Naruto remained silent for a moment, then tried to free his other self.

But no matter how many times he tried, the end result was always the same — the other "Naruto" was repeatedly reattached to the Divine Tree's roots.

After his efforts proved futile, Naruto looked toward the Divine Tree, its roots sprawling across the entire planet. A determined expression appeared on his face.

Just as he was about to use Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu and act as a lumberjack to destroy the Divine Tree entirely in the hopes of saving everyone,

A white figure descended from the sky, blocking Naruto's path.

"We meet again, Naruto."

The person looked at Naruto and spoke in a calm tone.

Naruto's eyes widened as he looked at the newcomer.

"Has the 'me' of this world already broken free?"

In another area, a figure with long blue-white hair dragging along the ground, Kaguya, gazed at the many roots of the Divine Tree protruding from the earth. The roots were wrapped around countless human cocoons bound in white bandages.

The Kaguya from the previous world, forcibly brought here under the white light of the Dragon Vein, spoke from within her body:

"If the Kaguya of this world has broken free, with her help, we can defeat Gensou and Hagoromo once and for all. After that, we can return to our respective worlds."

Judging by the state of this world, the Kaguya here must have already broken free from her seal and restored her strength to its peak by trapping everyone under the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Their combined power would offer a high chance of victory.

The original Kaguya nodded and was about to continue when she suddenly sensed something.

Having endured through two worlds, and gained much experience and lessons from Gensou, she sighed and brought her hands out from her wide sleeves, speaking coldly:

"I'm afraid things aren't as simple as we hoped."

As her words fell.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Thousands upon thousands of White Zetsu soldiers emerged from the ground, surrounding Kaguya.

And that wasn't all — more White Zetsu soldiers were continuously converging on their location.

Kaguya glanced around in shock. She never expected the very biological weapons she had created to turn against her.

As the standoff continued.

Just as Kaguya was about to demand who the true mastermind was,

The White Zetsu standing at the forefront looked her up and down and curiously asked:

"Do you know what it feels like to take a dump?"

Kaguya's gaze turned icy, and two All-Killing Ash Bones extended from her palms.

Boom!

With a thunderous explosion, the battle began!

Meanwhile.

"Well! Well! Well! I underestimated you!"

"You are me. How could I possibly underestimate myself?"

Elsewhere, two identical voices were clashing in cold argument.

The first to speak was the Sage of Six Paths from the previous world.

Indeed, just as he had hoped, Gensou and the others had left his world.

But he was also forced to leave his own world.

His counterpart had struck him at the very last moment.

If the other him hadn't resisted, Gensou would have already returned to his original world, erasing all consequences of space-time travel.

"You are far too extreme!" the previous world's Sage of Six Paths spoke coldly.

The original Sage of Six Paths replied calmly, "Like you, I'm doing this to protect my own world."

"Have you considered what you're up against now?"

"This world needs my strength."

"No! I do not need you!"

"You think—"

"It seems you have realized the differences between us. So... Die!!"

"No—"
