Durin got up early in the morning and took two girls to attend the morning lesson at Candle Dragon Hall.
Reed saw so many Candle Dragon cubs for the first time, and she quickly became face-blind - until today, she had never seen so many Candle Dragon cubs in one place.
In fact, she previously could only see Durin as the sole Candle Dragon; none of the other Dragonkind even came close.
As it happened, Durin, having nothing better to do, called Lina over and used her to introduce the differences between Western Lands Dragonkind and Eastern Land Dragonkind to the youngsters from the East.
The moment the Little Mother Dragon arrived, she, like Reed, fell into deep thought - actually, she was even more perplexed; her single-threaded brain simply could not process the multitude of children at Candle Dragon Hall.
"This is more than I imagined our combined offspring would be in more than a decade." Eventually, she conceded and sat aside, starting to murmur with Melinda and Reed.
