Ding Fan, pulling the two ladies along, resisted the oppressive force for a full half hour before they finally made their way out of the passage.
The three of them passed through the cave entrance, eventually arriving at a vast expanse of open space.
As soon as Ding Fan exited the cave, he felt as though all his energy had been drained, and he sat down on the ground, gasping for air.
At this moment, the other two ladies weren't faring any better than Ding Fan; Qu Waner and Qin Min lay on the ground, and it seemed they wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.
"Elder Brother Ye, thank you for earlier. If it wasn't for you, we probably would have been trapped and died in that passage," Qu Waner said from the side.
Qin Min, full of agreement, nodded her head. "Thank you, otherwise we really would have died in there."
