"Madam, weren't we here to stroll the streets?" Shiao Shiao was somewhat puzzled.
Madam had taken her out today, and she thought it was to buy something.
Yet, Madam had insisted on dragging her around the main street all morning without buying a single item.
Gu Shengyin smiled, "Your madam, I came out today to truly 'stroll' the streets."
Indeed, she wanted to see what kind of lives people in this world, especially women, were leading, what they pursued, and what they needed.
Shiao Shiao looked at her madam with some confusion; she did not understand the meaning of this statement.
Isn't strolling the streets just about buying things?
Gu Shengyin looked at her puzzled expression and laughed, "Let's go, after strolling all morning, I'll take you to a big meal."
Shiao Shiao perked up at this, "Thank you, Madam."
The two headed toward the nearby renowned Cloud City Delicacy House.
