Perhaps the stones that grow on the bodies of the Demon Beasts serve some purpose, but she thought they couldn't be that valuable.
"There was a Godslayer war here some time ago, Queen Melulan defeated that giant stone bird, and then part of its power gave rise to the Crystal Magical Beasts."
The Undead seemed to really enjoy sharing these little-known rumors with NPCs.

"Recently on the Xilu Continent, there's an event to build your own houses or castles, decorate them, and then have them scored," the Undead explained, "Houses with high scores and many votes can get rewards."
