Matt Damon saw Harvey's expression and couldn't be sure if what he was saying was true or false. For the sake of his career, he decided to no longer pay attention to the conflicts between Link and Harvey.
"Harvey, there's an update,"
While they were talking, Bob Weinstein and the head of the public relations department, Jon Gordon, walked in.
"What's the situation?"
Harvey straightened his belly and quickly asked.
Bob greeted Matt Damon and then began to explain the cause of the issue.
The problem lay with two public relations staff sent out by the Weinstein Company. During their campaign, they had used Weinstein Company's name and email to send messages to many jurors, convincing them to support Jennifer Lawrence's award and campaigning for Meryl by sending many small gifts.
The jurors, unaware of the truth, thought that Harvey had changed his mind and cast their votes for Jennifer Lawrence.
"Is it really like that?"
