It had taken some time for it to finally be completed but the process was finally done as the robotic body for Crater had been completed. Thus now he was ready to be transferred into it in the same manner that Page was into her own current body. The ones overlooking this were Cami and Carter's mom themselves as this was mostly a combined effort between the two of them at this point. Page was busy dealing with the other villagers and the efforts they were making after everyone but Carter and his mom had been roboticized themselves.
The process was basically the same one for Carter that had been done with Page herself. The process went down as smoothly as Page's as well given all the extra steps that were involved compared to everyone else roboticization process. Why were the two of theirs alone different from everyone else and even Cami's for that manner? That was a question no one was asking and Cami was no longer even aware she had even been human herself at this point. Her mind was altered to think she had always been serving under Reva since her creation after all.
"Cami and Mom," Crater said looking at the both of them.
Examining himself he did not seem to be that shocked or overly happy about what was going with him or to him at the moment. He just seemed to be causually accepting this though he did have one question as he looked at his mom. His new robotic body being the same dark green as Page's with the same eyes and hair color that otherwise the exact same as his organic one.
Looking at his mom he noticed that she was wearing nothing but a shirt that was similar to Cami's at the moment.
"Is there something wrong? We did not mess up anything did we" his mom asked worried
"Everything is fine and there is nothing wrong" he replied "though Page must have been overjoyed at this probably claiming that she served the Southern Guardian better like this"
"Of course as she went on and on about how this would allow her to better serve Cami and Reva as she how to serve directly under Cami," his mom told him.
"I see well she did always want this so there is no problem on my part then is this what she wants" her son said shrugging his shoulders.
Carter's mom then took her son's hand and took him upstairs, which kind of shocked him, as there was now an upstairs to this place after all. Before, this place was more like a cave in how rundown it was. However, now it looks more like a proper building again, as everything is pristine and proper-looking once again. It is a place that you expect to find someone like a Guardian staying in.
'Guess you could do a lot when you do not have to worry about sleeping, eating, and/or drinking' Crater thought to himself.
Even the throne that Reva was sitting on was polished and shined to the point where it looked brand new and all the signs of dust and cobwebs that once covered both him and Cami were a thing of the past. Like they had never been in the first place with the way he was looking at him now.
Carter looked towards his mother who was taking off the shirt she was wearing and then looked towards her son. She then looked confused for a moment as she had been waiting for this so what was taking him so long now it was finally time. Carter looked between his mom, Cami, Reva, and then himself as he managed to pick up on his own what was going on here. He then took Reva's hand into his own and held out his other for his mother to grasp. The thing she was waiting for was for her son's robotic body to be completed and for him transferred over into it. Thus once that was done the only thing that was preventing her from letting herself be roboticized was gone as she was the only human left in the village not because she wanted to be. It was because she was waiting for this moment and once it had arrived she had fully cast aside her organic self just like everyone else had. The only reason she was even wearing that shirt that Crater saw her in when he first activated within his robotic body was more so for him than herself. Crater's mother had already lost her own sense of modesty around the same time everyone else did as she was just only villager left who was still human at the time. Though it serves a purpose like with Cami, she was unaware of what that was and no one questioned why thus no one looked for or thought about the answer as a result of this.
Thus the last remnants of humanity within the village were gone as Crater's mother was roboticized by Reva through her son as the medium to allow it to happen. She was the same green color as everyone else though rather than just leaving her shirt on the ground to later be thrown away like everyone else did to their own clothes after their own roboticization. His mom picked up the shirt though she did not put it back on merely picked it up and waved at her son.
"I am heading back home first as I am sure you and Page will be hungry by the time you get back. So I am going to make your favorite for dinner tonight" she said
Now, the only ones in the village who still ate and drank were Page and Crater, though the reasoning as to why was still not a question that anyone cared about, so the topic never crossed anyone's mind.
"You are not going with her, Crater" Cami asked.
"Nah I am going to be staying here a bit longer. Seems Page needs you for something so you might want to go check on that" he told her.
Cami then tilted her head confused before realizing he was right and then rushed off to see what she wanted from her.
Once alone with the only ones here being himself and Reva, Crater just let out a sigh.
"How long are you going to pretend like you are still offline," he said directly to Reva.
"I was only pretending literally just now as I was actually offline before that" the Southern Guardian replied sighing back at him.
