Chapter 100 - Dark Ritual

Kage moved silently through the dark and dank tunnels of the sewers. He clearly felt the presence of 100 people around him. Each of them had sold their souls to the power of the Ritual Blood Moon to increase their power, becoming slaves of darkness. A wry smile appeared on the Kage's lips.

When he encountered his first victim, he swung his scythe without hesitation. The darkness within him was filled with pleasure when he saw the fear and confusion in his victim's eyes. The sharp edge of his scythe tore apart his victim's body, freeing his soul. Taking a deep breath, the Kage inhaled the spirit and sighed with satisfaction at the surge of power he felt.

"Have you sold your souls for something so worthless?" Kage muttered in a mocking tone. "How pathetic. How you wasted your souls for such a low level of power. Now this power feeds me."

The Kage grew stronger as he absorbed each soul. He silently approached his next victim, swiping his scythe once more, silently eliminating his target. As he absorbed his victim's soul, the dark power within him grew even greater.

"Such a simple death," said the Kage, his voice cold and mocking. "Your souls only provide me with brief satisfaction. The real fun has yet to begin."

Kage was advancing deeper into the sewers, getting stronger with each step. Each victim was hunted silently and mercilessly in the dark tunnels, their souls fueling the Kage's power. There was a demonic glint in the Kage's eyes; Every kill made him stronger and more dangerous.

She saw her next victim hiding in the corner. The victim panicked the moment he felt the Kage approaching, but he had nowhere to run. The Kage swung his scythe once more and swiftly slit his victim's throat. As she watched the life fade from the victim's eyes, she grew stronger by absorbing his soul.

"Are you giving up so quickly?" Kage sneered as his victim's body fell to the ground. "How weak and worthless you really are."

As he moved deeper into the tunnels, the darkness around him grew thicker and thicker. Each kill made the Kage stronger, but at the same time the darkness within him deepened. Enjoying the darkness and brutality, Kage enjoyed it more with each kill.

As Kage made his way towards the end of the sewers, he saw a light in the distance. He approached the light silently. His instincts told him that this was where Shadow was hiding. A dark glint appeared in his eyes as he saw Shadow's hiding place open into a room.

Shadow noticed the Kage's presence and emerged from a dark corner. They both looked at each other silently, sizing each other up. A wry smile appeared on the Kage's lips.

"So here you are," Kage said in a condescending tone. "It didn't take me long to find you."

Shadow studied the Kage carefully, and like last time, surprise appeared in his eyes as he felt his power. "Stop," said Shadow, raising his hands. "Do not kill. I will explain. Death energy comes from you and your scythe... So, you are death. But you are not the death I know. The type of death I know seems to be more middle-aged and its spiritual pressure is stronger than you. What I don't understand is that there is only one death in this multiverse." Maybe Death Energy is only valid for him."

Kage started laughing evilly. "I'm not from this universe," he said sarcastically. "I'm not interested in death as you know it. I wonder if I kill him and absorb his energy, how many millions of times stronger will I become than I was before I was sealed?" His laughter gradually became a dark echo.

Shadow was horrified by what the Kage said. "How could it be? There's only one multiverse. You couldn't have come from another universe."

A devilish smile appeared on Kage's face. "I don't need to tell you now that I have my answer. Farewell, Shadow. You did a good job giving me this information." He attacked Shadow, pouring all his death energy into his scythe.

As the shadow tried to escape by entering his full shadow form, the Kage's death energy surrounded him. He died painfully, even in his shadow form, due to the effect of the energy. As Shadow's final screams echoed through the dark tunnels, Kage lowered his scythe and reveled in increasing his power even further.

"The real fun is just beginning," Kage muttered with dark satisfaction. As he moved deeper into the tunnels, he became more powerful and dangerous with every step.
