"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Black." Just as Sophia wanted to take Xan away from the cafeteria, they met Zachary, who just came from a basketball game.
Zachary, Ashton, and Timothy were best friends, but Ashton had only introduced Zachary to Sophia and Dexter. The reason was evident not only did Timothy resemble Damien, but they were even relatives.
"Are you going home, Xan?" Zachary looked at Xan, confused. "Don't you still have classes in the afternoon?"
Her eyes were red as she sniffled and said, "My mom... is bringing me home."
Bewildered, Zachary glanced over to Timothy, who was nearby. "Did something happen?"
"Xan isn't feeling well, so I'm bringing her back," Sophia explained.
Zachary immediately nodded and said, "Alright, Mrs. Black."
As Sophia dragged Xan out, Xan couldn't help but turn around to look at Timothy.
Sophia felt that everything was falling apart. Getting involved with a jerk was worse than being discovered by the laboratory's people.
