Chapter 638 - You Think You Can Challenge Me?

"Ah, the noble Celestial Dragon finally graces us with their presence. What a surprise. I was expecting—" Doflamingo's voice dripped with mockery, but when he saw who stepped forward, his eyes behind his tinted glasses narrowed. "It's you?"

His heart sank. He had assumed this ship carried an ordinary Celestial Dragon, but instead, he had stumbled upon the one person he least wanted to encounter.

"Oh? You recognize me?" Kaguya stepped forward, smirking. "I'd expect nothing less from the infamous pirate Donquixote Doflamingo. Your intel must be impressive to have gathered information on me so quickly."

Logically speaking, even if one counted her defeat of the Buster Call fleet in Ohara, it had only been a few months. For Doflamingo to recognize her immediately meant that the major powers were already keeping an eye on her.

Doflamingo hesitated, then spoke in a low voice, "You know me?"

"How could I not recognize such a notorious pirate?" Kaguya leaned casually against the railing, giving him a sidelong glance. "I've been watching you for a while."

Anyone familiar with the world of pirates knew of Doflamingo. With his unique appearance and ruthless reputation, he had no shortage of admirers and enemies alike.

But Doflamingo misunderstood her words. His expression darkened. "If that's the case, I can't let you leave."

"Can't let me leave? Looks like you still don't understand the gap between us," Kaguya said with a mocking smile. "But that's fine. Realizing that some enemies are simply unbeatable is also a form of growth."

"An unbeatable enemy?" Doflamingo's lips curled into a wicked grin. "Arrogant little girl. You're speaking too soon."

As soon as he finished speaking, Doflamingo launched his attack. His foot slammed against the deck as his body blurred forward at a speed almost imperceptible to the naked eye. His fingers twitched, sending razor-sharp threads whipping toward Kaguya.

"Bullet Thread!"

"If this is all you have, then I'm going to be very disappointed." Kaguya lazily waved her arm, and the high-speed, deadly strings shattered upon impact as if they were mere cobwebs.

Doflamingo's signature threads were known for their extreme toughness and cutting power. Even in the Dressrosa arc, Zoro had struggled to sever the Birdcage, proving how resilient they were.

Yet this silver-haired girl had just casually swatted them away.

Doflamingo's eyes narrowed, but instead of retreating, he surged forward. In a blink, he was right in front of Kaguya, twisting his body mid-air to deliver a devastating spinning kick.

"Overheat Whip!"

Thin, nearly invisible threads wrapped around his leg, carrying the force of a hurricane as they slashed toward Kaguya's neck.

Doflamingo smirked. For all the hype surrounding this new force in the world, she didn't seem particularly impressive.

Then—

She vanished.

"Is this all you've got? You're really disappointing me."

Doflamingo's pupils shrank in shock.

When had she moved behind him?! He hadn't noticed at all!

Damn it—

His instincts screamed at him to dodge, but it was too late.

Kaguya extended her palm, and a rapidly spinning, glowing blue sphere formed in her hand. In a single swift motion, she drove it straight into Doflamingo's back.

"Rasengan!"

With a thunderous boom, debris flew in all directions as a powerful shockwave erupted.

Doflamingo was slammed onto the deck with immense force, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

The Adam wood deck cracked and warped under the sheer impact, leaving deep fissures across its surface.

The sheer power was terrifying.

Everyone present was stunned, their eyes wide with shock. The injured Marine captain was left utterly speechless.

Doflamingo was widely regarded as one of the strongest rising pirates on the seas, having previously defeated multiple Marine vice admirals and escaped a heavily fortified naval blockade. His strength was beyond doubt.

Yet here he was, completely helpless under the hand of the Celestial Dragon princess.

Thinking back to her previous battles against Vice Admiral Garp and even Whitebeard, this outcome now seemed almost inevitable.

Kaguya glanced down at Doflamingo, who was still struggling to get up, and without hesitation, she stepped forward and kicked him. "Too weak."

But as her foot made contact, Kaguya's expression shifted.

Doflamingo's body suddenly unraveled into thin white threads—it was a puppet, a decoy created using his "Shadow String Clone."

"Too naive."

A voice rang out from behind her.

A dark figure appeared like a phantom, moving at lightning speed. Five fingers pulled taut, shimmering with razor-sharp colored threads, as Doflamingo lunged forward with a sinister grin. "Die."

"Five Color String!"

"The naive one here is you, Doflamingo."

A familiar voice suddenly came from behind him.

"What?!"

Doflamingo's pupils shrank in shock as he turned around, only to see the silver-haired girl standing right behind him once again.

"Did you really think such a petty trick would fool me?" Kaguya's eyes glimmered with amusement as she smirked. "Too childish."

Doflamingo's shadow clone technique might work against others, as his string doppelgängers were eerily lifelike. But against Kaguya's powerful visual abilities, this deception was nothing more than a joke.

Doflamingo tried to dodge, but it was too late.

Kaguya raised her hand, and a jet-black staff materialized in her palm. With a flick of her wrist, the black rod shot forward like lightning.

Splat.

With a sickening sound, blood splattered as the black rod pierced cleanly through Doflamingo's body.

"Aaaaagh!"

Doflamingo's mouth opened wide as he spat out another mouthful of blood.

His body instinctively attempted to retreat, but then—his eyes widened in sheer disbelief.

He couldn't move.

Kaguya strolled towards him, her radiant smile both dazzling and chilling. "You seriously thought you could take me on? How laughable."

At this moment, Doflamingo was clearly no match for Kaguya, whether in Devil Fruit abilities, combat skills, or physical strength. Even twenty years later, when Doflamingo would reach his prime, he would still barely be able to last a few moves against her.

The black rods Kaguya used were a product of Yin-Yang Release, similar in composition to the Truth-Seeking Orbs, containing immense power capable of sealing a person's chakra points.

Initially, Kaguya only wanted to test whether these rods would work in the world of One Piece, as it operated on a completely different system than the world of Naruto. However, much to her satisfaction, her experiment was a success—the rods worked just as effectively here, rendering Doflamingo completely immobile.

"Doffy!"

At that moment, a ship approached from the distance. Several figures leaped high from the deck, rushing toward Kaguya's warship.

They were members of the Donquixote Family—Trebol, Gladius, and Diamante.

Trebol, who had raised Doflamingo since childhood, was extremely familiar with his capabilities. Seeing Doflamingo utterly defeated, he was both shocked and anxious, desperately rushing forward to rescue him.

Realizing their intent, Doflamingo's face twisted in frustration. Veins bulged on his forehead as he shouted, "Don't come any closer!"

But it was already too late.

"Doffy, we're here to save you!" Diamante bellowed.

Just as they were about to land on the ship, Kaguya frowned slightly, her expression filled with disdain. "My ship isn't a place for just any worthless nobodies."

She raised her hand.

"Shinra Tensei."

The moment she spoke, an immense force erupted from her palm, tearing through the air with devastating power.

"Boom!"

The three airborne figures were struck violently, their chests caving inward as they spat out mouthfuls of blood.

Like broken kites, they were sent flying backward before crashing heavily onto the deck of their own ship. With blood trickling from their noses and mouths, they lay motionless, their fate uncertain.

"Damn it!" Doflamingo clenched his teeth, fury burning in his eyes.

After dealing with the insignificant nuisances, Kaguya dusted off her hands and turned back to Doflamingo. "They were nothing but useless trash."

"You bastard!" Doflamingo growled, his voice dripping with rage. "I'll kill you!"

"Hah, you're really barking up the wrong tree." Kaguya smirked as she walked over and stomped her foot onto Doflamingo's face, grinding it into the ground. "And who do you think you are, talking to me like that?"

Doflamingo struggled to fight back, but at this moment, he couldn't muster even an ounce of strength. The paralysis from the black rods was even more suppressive than being touched by Seastone.

"What? Not convinced?" Kaguya crouched down, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Compared to real powerhouses, you're nothing but a slightly bigger ant. If I wanted to crush you, it would be effortless. So don't test my patience."

With that, she lifted her foot and delivered a brutal kick to Doflamingo's abdomen, sending him flying into the ship's bulkhead with a resounding crash.

But she wasn't done yet. Striding over to where he lay, she grabbed him by the throat, hoisting him into the air before slamming a palm strike into his stomach.

"Rasengan!"

With a muffled "boom," Doflamingo's eyes widened in shock as he spewed a mouthful of blood.

"Hmph, overestimating yourself," Kaguya snorted coldly, swinging her arm and sending Doflamingo flying. He crashed heavily into the wall with a "bang" before sliding limply to the floor.

The surrounding Navy soldiers stared in shock, momentarily forgetting their own injuries.

Doflamingo, who had defeated several vice admirals and caused the Navy countless headaches, with a bounty of 340 million Berries, was now being beaten like a mere child in the hands of the Celestial Dragon princess. He had no chance to retaliate.

Just how powerful was she to accomplish such a feat? It was terrifying!

At that moment, Kaguya suddenly turned her cold gaze toward the soldiers. "Have you seen enough?"

Her words were like a chilling northern wind, making the Navy soldiers shudder.

Frowning, Kaguya ordered, "Throw these guys into the sea and let them fend for themselves." She turned towards the ship's cabin. "Daring to disturb my sleep... truly courting death."

The soldiers broke into a cold sweat. So that was the real reason for the brutal beating?

"What are you all standing around for?" Kaguya suddenly turned back, her face expressionless. "Or do you want to join them?"

The Navy soldiers sprang into action like coiled springs, hurriedly carrying out her orders. They had no desire to be tossed into the sea as fish food.

"Oh, and one more thing," Kaguya added, suddenly remembering something. "Bring over all the valuables from their ship. We shouldn't let them go to waste, understood?"

The soldiers were speechless.

Not only had Doflamingo been beaten to a pulp, but his ship was now being completely looted before he was dumped into the ocean. He had truly embodied the phrase "trying to steal a chicken only to lose the rice."

Meeting Kaguya was already unlucky enough.

Meeting Kaguya when she was in a bad mood? That was an absolute disaster.

Doflamingo would never have imagined that the reason he was mercilessly beaten was simply because he had disturbed Kaguya's nap. One could only wonder what kind of expression he would have if he ever found out.

Due to the previous undersea current turbulence, Kaguya and her fleet did not end up at the expected Sabaody Archipelago or even the New World. Somehow, they had ended up in the East Blue.

This was an absurd distance away from Sabaody, with the Red Line in between. Who knew what they had experienced along the way?

However, the surprising silver lining was that Doflamingo's ship contained quite a few valuable items. Besides the usual fruits, vegetables, gold, and treasures, there were also several Devil Fruits.

After examination, the Devil Fruits were identified as the Snow-Snow Fruit, the Hobby-Hobby Fruit, the Swim-Swim Fruit, and an unidentified Zoan-type Fruit.

"Aren't these the future Devil Fruits of Monet, Sugar, and that perverted ability user?" Kaguya mused in surprise.

It seemed that Monet and Sugar had not yet joined the Donquixote Family, so it made sense that these Devil Fruits were still unclaimed.

Either way, Kaguya had no intention of being polite—these Devil Fruits were now hers.
