Perhaps due to having things on her mind, Su Mu was a bit absent-minded even while bathing. It was only when the bathroom door was knocked that she snapped out of her reverie, and through the sound of water, she heard Fu Shinian's voice, sometimes distant and sometimes close:
"An hour already, not done yet?"
Su Mu instinctively responded: "Just a minute."
Fu Shinian's voice ceased, and Su Mu naturally assumed he had left. She quickly rinsed herself once more and walked out of the shower, casually wrapping a towel around her body. However, as she reached the vanity, she suddenly realized a problem.
It seemed that in her attempt to avoid Fu Shinian earlier, she had forgotten to bring her pajamas inside.
