Chapter 153 - 152: Blood Potion

Hogwarts' dinner was mostly traditional English cuisine.

But it wasn't just English dishes.

As long as the house-elves knew how to make it, it could be found at the feast of celebration.

Overall, Lyon enjoyed the meal—until Dumbledore brought out Cockroach Clusters for dessert.

"No, absolutely not—I'd rather go to the library and read than eat that."

So, the moment the celebration ended, Lyon immediately disappeared into the Hogwarts library.

Two days passed quickly.

During those two days—

Dumbledore contacted the Ministry of Magic and, together with the Aurors, began dismantling the remaining Death Eater forces.

Without Voldemort's leadership, the Death Eaters completely lost their cohesion and collapsed almost instantly.

And with the former Death Eaters—Snape and the Malfoy family—leading the way, in just two days, more than half of the pure-blood families that had only recently pledged allegiance to Voldemort were rounded up, arrested by the Ministry, and awaited trial before being sent to Azkaban.

Over the past two days, Lyon had finished reading through the books and had thoroughly grasped the magical knowledge within Hogwarts.

Just as he was about to find Dumbledore, Mordo and the others stopped him.

"Lyon, you told us to explore and exchange knowledge with the local spellcasters, but there's nothing to exchange!" Wong complained bitterly.

Mordo agreed. "Rather than calling them sorcerers, they're more like wizards or incantation casters. They rely entirely on the innate magical energy within their bodies. All they do is say a few words and flick their wands—there's no real process we can study."

Tony crossed his arms. "Yeah, I noticed that too. But I'm guessing you have a solution for this, don't you?"

Banner's soul sighed in frustration. "I haven't had any time to study magic at all—Hulk keeps trying to run off and play with the young wizards."

Lyon patted Banner's shoulder. "That's just how kids are. Let him tire himself out—he'll come back on his own."

"As for the magic problem… I do have a solution. Follow me."

Lyon led them to the Potions classroom.

He walked up to a cauldron and said, "At first, I tried using magic directly, but it didn't work. So I went to Dumbledore and had him demonstrate every single spell for me."

"By observing how his internal magical energy flowed while casting, I was able to fully decipher how their magic functioned—and from there, I learned all of their spells."

"But for you guys, it's not as simple—since you don't have any innate magical energy to use."

Mordo was puzzled. "So, you're saying we need to reestablish our connection with other dimensions and borrow power again?"

Lyon shook his head. "In this world, you can't borrow external power. The wizards here have always relied purely on their own internal energy."

That finally made Mordo and Wong understand.

What do you mean by 'own internal energy'? Are you saying the magic we learned at Kamar-Taj is the same thing?

Lyon chuckled. "Relax, I told you I have a solution."

"I realized that the wizards here are actually very similar to magical creatures… You guys know about magical creatures, right?"

Tony nodded. "Yeah. They're animals that are born with magic and can naturally use their abilities without spells or wands."

After two days of studying, Tony had already gained a detailed understanding of this world's magical system.

"Exactly! That's the key."

"The origins of wizardry are unclear."

"But without a doubt, the earliest wizards were like magical creatures—they were born with the ability to cast magic naturally."

Lyon snapped his fingers.

"But as time went on, later generations of wizards became weaker than their ancestors and had to rely on spells and wands to channel their magic."

Lyon took out some magical creature materials and began adding them to the cauldron for brewing.

"There's definitely a bloodline factor involved here, though how much of it remains is debatable.

But it's there.

Because bloodline is crucial for wizards.

Even modern-day wizards—including Muggle-borns—All must have wizard ancestry somewhere in their lineage.

In other words, at some point in their family history, one of their ancestors was a wizard.

Without a wizarding bloodline, a person can't awaken magic and can't become a wizard."

Lyon added each ingredient in sequence, then tapped his finger against the cauldron.

"Potion Acceleration!"

This was a new spell Lyon had developed by incorporating time manipulation into magic.

The brewing process in the cauldron immediately sped up.

Lyon stirred at a rapid pace, occasionally adding more ingredients with precise timing.

Ten minutes later, only about ten milliliters of potion remained at the bottom of the cauldron.

Lyon poured the potion into a glass dropper.

"This is the solution I developed—the Blood Potion, you can also call it the Bloodline Elixir."

"This potion is brewed using phoenix blood, feathers, dragon blood, and various other magical creature materials."

As for where he got the ingredients? Of course, he borrowed them from Dumbledore.

"Just a single milliliter is enough to grant the drinker a high-quality magical creature affinity, comparable to that of an ancient wizard."

Lyon held out the dropper.

"Who wants to try it first? Don't worry about safety—I've already tested it on myself."

During the research process, even Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes, had been plucked nearly bald by Lyon.

One could only imagine just how many failed experiments he had conducted.

Each time, he personally drank the potion, then used his genetic abilities to suppress and analyze the surging power.

By the time he finally succeeded, Fawkes had turned into a nearly featherless bird—so traumatized that he collapsed at the sight of Lyon.

That being said, a potion like this—In a Harry Potter world where magic had seen very little innovation over the past few centuries was nothing short of revolutionary.

It was nothing short of a groundbreaking creation.

After Lyon confirmed that the Bloodline Elixir was safe, even Dumbledore decided to try a single milliliter.

A few seconds later, the sudden surge of magic within him completely obliterated the Headmaster's office.

"Merlin's beard! You're practically… another Merlin himself! In light of Fawkes' tremendous sacrifice of blood and feathers, please, just let me keep the rest of the potion!"

That was what a completely awestruck Dumbledore had said at the time.

He clutched the remaining eight milliliters of potion and flatly refused to return it to Lyon.

No one in this world understood the sheer power of the Bloodline Elixir better than he did.

From the moment the potion was successfully brewed, Lyon had essentially become the second coming of Merlin in the wizarding world.

To that, Lyon could only scoff. How easily impressed they were.

Even compared to this potion, the Divine Spring Water he had used before was far more precious.

After all, that spring water hadn't just brought Dumbledore back to life. It had also purged the curse afflicting his body and even rejuvenated him by decades.

The morning after the celebration, Dumbledore appeared with a full head of black hair—nearly scaring McGonagall and the other professors out of their wits.

In the Potions classroom, Lyon finished recounting Dumbledore's case before spreading his hands.

"Unfortunately, this potion requires extremely rare ingredients. Even its brewing process is incredibly demanding."

"I had to continuously use my genetic abilities to stabilize the fusion process, ensuring that multiple powerful magical bloodlines could successfully merge."

"In other words, aside from me, no one else could replicate this potion—at least, not for now."

Lyon turned to Tony. "But if you want, Tony, you could try modifying and improving it later. Maybe you'll figure out a mass-producible version."

"No problem. I'm already pretty interested in this world's magic."

Since Lyon had called him out directly, Tony simply stepped forward, grabbed the potion, and drank a single milliliter.

"But the way you're talking… it sounds like you're planning to leave soon?" Tony smacked his lips as he spoke—only to suddenly feel a surge of powerful magic erupting from his body.

"Whoa! This—this is magic!?"

With his SS3-type serum enhancements and now the Bloodline Elixir!

The current Tony Stark had officially become the ultimate fusion of science and magic.

Lyon activated a biokinetic field to protect the classroom furniture from the effects of the magical energy. "That's right, this is magic. Over the next few days, you'll experience magic surges and loss of control. It's best to limit your time outside and start learning magic as soon as possible."

Mordo's mouth was still hanging open. "This potion… it can so easily generate magic inside a person's body? This is unbelievable!"

Wong wiped his hands on his Sling Ring. "So… does this mean we no longer have to borrow power from dimensional entities?"

"More or less… but you'll first need to fully understand the essence of spellcasting." Lyon replied.

Banner clasped his hands together and hesitated before asking, "Can I drink it too? You know… my situation is a bit different."

"Of course. You should know that in some parallel universes, even Hulk can use magic." Lyon answered without hesitation.

He gave Banner a quick scan. "Your blood already has extreme adaptability. If we add wizard bloodline traits to it, your body will just assimilate them as its own. There's no risk."

Without further hesitation, the three of them followed Tony's lead and drank the Bloodline Elixir.

A few minutes later, with all four of them uncontrollably radiating magic, they each rushed off to their rooms before they could cause any damage.

Meanwhile, Lyon went to find Dumbledore to say his goodbyes.

Inside the Headmaster's office.

"You're leaving? Why so soon? I still have plenty of sweets I haven't shared with you," said black-haired, black-bearded Dumbledore, trying to persuade him to stay.

"I've already learned all of your world's magic, and as for what I haven't learned, I can't learn it right now anyway. So why should I stay?" Lyon sat across from him.

"How about staying at Hogwarts as a professor? Perhaps as the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher?"

"You just want to get rid of me, don't you, Dumbledore?" Lyon teased. "Don't think I don't know that no Defense Against the Dark Arts professor lasts more than a year."

"Haha! That was because of the curse Tom placed on the position. But now that he's dead, there's nothing to worry about anymore." Dumbledore chuckled heartily.

Lyon shook his head. "No thanks. But Tony and the others will be staying for a while to continue learning magic. I'll leave them in your care."

"I'll look after them, of course. But are you really not considering staying a few more days? At least let me properly repay you for all that you've done."

"How about giving me Fawkes?"

"..."

"Haha! Lord Lyon, I look forward to our next meeting." Dumbledore stood up to see him off.

And with that, Lyon left the Harry Potter world.
