Early the next morning, Xiang Yu was still half-asleep when the noise outside jolted him awake. At first, he didn't want to respond, but after lying down for a while, he couldn't fall back asleep. He threw on some clothes, freshened up, and walked out.
By now, Xiao Xuan was already outside waiting for him.
"What's going on?" Xiang Yu asked, frowning.
"I don't know either. I just saw a bunch of people rushing by with weapons," Xiao Xuan replied.
Just then, Wu Yue and Feng Lan also came running over. When they spotted Xiang Yu, they ran straight to him.
Wu Yue apologized sheepishly, "I'm really sorry for waking you up."
Wu Yue's attitude toward Xiang Yu had changed dramatically, leaving Xiang Yu feeling a bit unaccustomed.
"Did you two not sleep last night?" Xiang Yu said, glancing at Wu Yue and Feng Lan. He saw their dark under-eye circles—an obvious sign of sleep deprivation.
