Chapter 14 - The First Strike of the Star-Eaters and the Celestial Formation war

The seventh day arrived. The sky cracked open like shattered glass.

From beyond the void, The Star-Eater Court descended—beings once cultivators, now twisted immortals who fed on celestial qi, draining spirit realms to extend their cursed existence. Their skin shimmered like dying constellations, and in their hands, they carried weapons forged from extinct stars.

They didn't speak.

They didn't warn.

They devoured.

---

The Sky Bleeds

Their first strike was not against a person—but the sky itself.

A great claw of void light tore through the heavens above the Pathweaver Sect, creating a vortex that began sucking away the natural qi, turning the atmosphere cold, dry, and dead.

Qi drought—a terrifying weapon once used only in ancient wars. Without qi, cultivators were like birds with broken wings.

But the master, calm as ever, whispered,

"Release the Eternal Formation."

---

The Rise of the Celestial Formation Dome

From beneath the sect, a hidden layer rumbled to life. Massive golden rings surged into the air, locking into place above the sect, one atop the other, forming a grand formation tower that covered the entire land like a heavenly shell.

Each layer was a fusion of traditional formation theory, Sixth Path fusion tech, and unique student creations:

1. Heaven-Root Layer – Drew spiritual qi directly from other realms to resist the drought.

2. Mirror Array – Reflected star-based attacks with double intensity.

3. Living Seal Grid – Formed from talismans that adapted in real-time like a swarm of intelligent spirits.

4. Soul Link Web – Linked every student's spirit, allowing shared senses, strength, and speed.

5. Origin Pulse Field – A new invention, pulsing rhythmic energy that disrupted the immortals' energy-draining technique.

The Star-Eaters struck again—this time with Void Comets—spells that collapsed space on impact. But the Mirror Array caught them, curved them, and flung them back.

The sky exploded with reversed starlight.

The battle had begun.

The Disciples Stand

Unlike ancient sects that protected their core while sacrificing outer realms, Pathweaver Sect stood as one.

Even the youngest disciples, trained in fusion arts, activated formation triggers, launched talismans from afar, and guided qi through channels designed by their seniors.

One team used Pill Formations, forming floating medicinal clouds that healed fighters mid-battle.

Another created Weapon Drones—floating, spirit-bound blades that fought as a squad.

A single archer girl, using a Living Bow, shot spirit arrows that split into thousands of light-needles, piercing star-armored attackers.

Every student was both fighter and creator.

And in the center, floating above the Formation Dome, stood the master. Cloaked in silver flames, holding an ethereal scroll and a spear made of talisman, qi, and pure will.

---

Star-Eater General Descends

Then, the sky shook.

A dark throne of bones and constellations descended, riding a meteor trail. From it stepped a figure nine meters tall, draped in robes of dead stars—General Kuro'Zhun, the oldest surviving member of the Star-Eater Court.

"You defy the celestial balance. I will erase your heresy."

The master raised the Origin Scroll.

"Come. And see what creation can truly do."

---

The Duel of Eras

The two clashed in the skies.

Kuro'Zhun's blade—Stellafang—moved like falling galaxies.

The master's spear changed form with each move—sometimes sword, sometimes pen, sometimes lightning.

As they fought, their clash rewrote the heavens. The stars flickered between timelines. Old constellations returned. Forgotten stars were reborn. Qi surged.

In the heat of battle, the master unleashed the Sixth Layer of the dome—Chrono Harmony—a time-folding spell that allowed all disciples to train at 10x speed mid-battle, evolving techniques in minutes.

Even General Kuro'Zhun faltered.

He roared, "Impossible! This level of creation should not exist!"

But the master only smiled.

"That is why it was never taught. It was born."

---

End of Chapter

The Pathweaver Sect survives the first strike of the heavens. Their fusion of traditional arts and new creation-techniques overwhelms even immortal-level opponents. The first general falls back—but the war has just begun.
