Tossed into the barely lit room again, the dangerous plan that had take root in Zina's mind kept on evolving as Zina cracked her head for how to outwit her captor's even in the tiny bit.
Daemon appeared before her, and his cunniness whenever he was before his Wolf Chess Table was the only thing she concentrated on.
What would he do if he was the one in her situation?
He would certainly plan and plot his way out of it, but how? She admitted she was not nearly smart as him but she stepped into his shoes, remembering every distant word he spoke to her whenever he stood before his game table.
Back then when Zina had been captured by the rogues and he had rescued her, he would always call out on her flimsy lies. But the only reason why Daemon was able to catch on them was because he was of the ardent believe that the best lies were always the ones that was soaked in half-truths.
