"Honey, who are you speaking to at the door?" Catherine's proud voice asked as she walked out to meet her husband.
The moment she stepped out, she almost lost her footing from shock but she quickly held onto the door, her heart beating rapidly as she saw her husband kneeling in front of Ariel and Aiden.
She immediately knew that their time in the house was over.
"Ariel, darling, welcome home! We've been so worried about you, where have you been?" Catherine immediately ran forward to hug Ariel but Gregory stopped her by grabbing her hand and drawing her away.
"Let's all go in and have some tea, shall we?" Ariel asked, ignoring Catherine and Jude.
"Come," Grandma Nari said and walked into the house.
Aiden held Ariel's hand and walked inside, "We shouldn't stay long here," He whispered.
Ariel sat down, crossing her legs, Aiden and Grandma Nari were sitting beside her while Gregory made Catherine and Jude kneel before them.
