"Dong~ Dong Dong~"
The sound of knocking echoed, and Mu Ying instructed the vine by the door to unlatch it.
Edwin had not even managed to lower his hand from knocking when the door swung open.
"Come in and sit!" Mu Ying called out to Edwin outside the door.
Edwin nodded, stepped inside, and as he turned to close the door, he looked behind it, puzzled.
There was nothing there.
What had opened the door for him?
Edwin was somewhat baffled, hiding his full curiosity as he sat down at the dining table.
The table was lavishly spread with both Chinese and Western dishes.
"Did you make all this yourself?" Edwin was a bit surprised. What had this girl been eating to grow up so capable?
The aroma alone made Edwin's mouth water intensely.
It seemed every time he saw her, he discovered a new side to her.
Before, she was the calm and wise Lady Lord, but now she appeared as a girl with great cooking skills, who loved life.
Edwin thought this as he looked around the cozy treehouse.
