Even though he possessed the Transcendent trait of 'Iron Skin,' having an additional layer of protection on the outside would obviously make him safer.
After all, when it comes to protection, why not stack armor whenever possible?
When Rein returned to the church, he saw several individuals clad in Knight Armor. Among them were Knight Lloyd and swordsmanship instructor Perez—both of whom were 'old acquaintances.'
Well… it was Rein who was familiar with the two of them. The two, however, didn't know him, as Rein's previous status had been far too low to even cross their paths.
Inside the carriage, the elegant and captivating Baroness Crowley peeked out through the curtains. She nodded toward Rein, who was walking over, and gave him a faint smile.
