Encased in elite yet durable exoskeletons, Insectoids, full of dynamism and strength, were incomparable to ordinary intelligent beings.
The heads and bodies of these Insectoids were broadly similar, but with slight differences in detail. Some Insectoids had two scythe-like mantis arms, some had sharp claws, some even had shotgun-like barrels on their arms, and others sprouted spikes.
Their movements were incredibly fast, almost impossible to capture, and their penetration was exceptionally strong. Even the meticulously crafted powered individual armor, capable of defending against light weapons, was still breached by their scythes and spike guns in one strike.
The leader of the Insectoids didn't appear larger or particularly special. Compared to his excited kin rapidly decapitating humans, he scarcely moved. It wasn't until he saw a Star Warrior using star energy to kill several Insectoids and managed to block the Insectoids' wave of assault that he acted.
