Berick continued to ask, "What about the soldier disappearances at the base?"
"It has been handed over to the Constitutional Soldiers for investigation." His subordinate said helplessly, "The Key West incident was exposed, plus that thing with Luke on the television, a lot of soldiers have developed a distrust of the military. Although promoting some middle-ranking officers has somewhat resolved the mutinies led by them, the lower-ranking soldiers... especially the new recruits, in fact, we've only provided explanations and remedies, even promoting some soldiers, but those are still a minority."
"So what?"
"So the desertion rate is now very high." The subordinate said, "Each military base has some cases of missing soldiers, and the Constitutional Soldier can bring back eighty percent from their homes."
Berick sensed something was amiss, "What about the other twenty percent?"
