"You must be crazy to think I would ever go and bail Eunice from jail. What exactly do you take me for?" Vanessa said as she looked at him, anger and disgust visible allover her face.
"I'm sure Eunice didn't mean it; you have to trust me.. I promise we will get all these sorted, just follow me back to the station."
But vanessa laughed at his words, as she then entered the car and Erin followed behind. The car was filled with awkward silence for some time until vanessa broke it, "I have obtained the money from Rowen."
Erin who was frowning, immediately smiled at her words as his eyes immediately lit up. "Are you saying the truth?"
Vanessa nodded, "I've already paid the money to them, the receipt i sent to your WeChat. that was where I was when Eunice kidnapped me just so you know."
