Rowen dropped Vanessa at the Owen mansion. As she stepped out of the car, she stood there, watching as Rowen walked over to her.
With a faint smile, she asked, "So, where are you headed now?"
"I have to go back to Willows. There's a business trip I need to sort out. It's a big one could really change things for my company."
Vanessa nodded, though a flicker of disappointment crossed her face. She didn't want to let him go, but she knew she had to.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye... at least until you return." She sighed. "I'll head inside myself. No need to walk me in."
She turned to leave, but Rowen reached out and gently grabbed her hand, stopping her.
"You can't just walk away like that. I still have things to tell you."
"Like what?"
"First off, casino businesses are illegal in Graceland. But with a smart lawyer, you could still get bail. So... I dug up Erin's old business records and sent them to the police. Let's just say he won't be walking free anytime soon."
