The entire living room went silent at Xavier's revelation. While some recalled the case immediately, a few—Kyrell and Sienna, among them —couldn't remember reading or listening to anything about it in the news or anywhere else.
'Why don't I know about this matter? If Xavier knows, I must have known about it as well. Why am I oblivious to it?' Kyrell wondered, giving Xavier a cryptic look.
Meanwhile, Sienna was bereft of speech and blinked at Xavier silently, wondering if she was now hearing things. "Did you just say Jordan faked his death or am I hallucinating now?" she asked, seeking clarification and Xavier smiled teasingly at her.
"You're aren't imagining things, Miss Lawrence. Jordan did fake his death. It became quite a sensation when the truth was revealed to the public."
"Why don't I recall this case?" Sienna pondered, folding her hands and Frank immediately came to her rescue.
