"Sorry, but you'll have to wait a bit," Jarek's companion said, catching Lyra's attention.
"And who are you?" Lyra asked, her expression unreadable.
"I am—" He was about to introduce himself when a hunter came flying toward him. He just deflected his direction with minimal effort, but the force was enough to knock him out of the arena.
"Sorry for the intrusion. My name is Henry," he said, his face serious.
"I don't have time for chit-chat. The fact is, I have to save that friend over there," she said looking toward Eirin and Jarek.
"If you want to save your friend, you'll have to go through me first," Henry said, appearing in front of her.
"I wasn't talking about my friend," Lyra corrected him. "Actually, my friend took a good beating from another friend of mine, who, I'm sure, is watching us right now." Her words earned a chuckle from somewhere.
"Oh... Jarek? He'll be fine on his own. You should worry about yourself," Henry replied, sizing her up.
