Lucius slumped to his office chair, unbuttoning the blazer and picked up the phone from the desk. He dialed Carlo's number and waited for the phone to be answered.
Finally, after a few rings, the call was picked.
As expected, on the other side, Carlo was on the line.
"Hello!?"
"Carlo, Lucius this side."
"Lucius?" Carlo looked at the number before bringing the phone back to his ear. "Why are you calling me?"
"We were supposed to meet way back, but some matters kept me busy," Lucius stated.
"What do you want?" Carlo asked, his eyes furrowing in suspicion.
"I would like to meet you," Lucius replied.
Carlo laughed on the phone. "Are you kidding? Why would I even meet you, Lucius?" he muttered after his laughter stopped.
"To save your life," Lucius replied. "I may hand over the information of your estate to the police. I know you have been doing quite illegal stuff outside Rome," he threatened Carlo.
