Yichen Inn.
Late at night, glancing at the time on her phone, March 7th couldn't help feeling uneasy.
It's so late; why hasn't she returned yet?
Calls go unanswered, texts receive no reply—could she be planning to stay overnight there?
Don't fall for any deceitful women, please.
"Wah... So boring, sooo boring..."
March 7th hugged her Pom-Pom pillow, rolling back and forth on the soft bed.
If only she hadn't let her leave! With no one to chat with, it was unbearably dull.
Knock, knock, knock!
Urgent knocks sounded at the door.
March 7th's eyes lit up, and without bothering to put on shoes, she rushed barefoot towards the entrance, complaining aloud:
"How come you're returning so late..."
"Huh? Why is it you, Grand Diviner?" Fu Xuan tilted her head and asked, "Seeing this venerable one instead, are you disappointed?"
March 7th waved her hand sheepishly. "Heh heh, no, not at all," she said. "I thought Stelle might have returned; I didn't expect to see the Grand Diviner."
Fu Xuan queried, puzzled, "Is A-Yan not here with you?"
March 7th blinked her lovely eyes, looking somewhat bewildered. "Are you referring to Su Jinyan, Little Su?" she asked. "Why would he be in our room so late?"
Fu Xuan fell silent.
Miss March seemed sincere, suggesting that perhaps the traitorous disciple really wasn't present. Yet, the tracker clearly indicated his location within this very room at Yichen Inn.
Apologetically, Fu Xuan said, "My apologies, Miss March, but could this venerable one please come inside for a quick look around?"
The corners of March 7th's lips curved upward as she swiftly took Fu Xuan's delicate hand.
She hadn't anticipated Lady Fu Xuan being so strict with Little Su—clearly fearing he'd indulge in forbidden fruit. But March 7th had nothing to hide; her conduct was upright, devoid of any hint of impropriety between herself and Su Jinyan. Considering their friendship, she decided to cover for him just this once.
"Of course, please do come in."
"Eh?"
"Lady Fu Xuan, truthfully speaking, we've long heard about your vast wisdom from reading extensively on Xianzhou."
"As it happens, I'm free tonight too. Let's seize this opportunity to have a good chat."
Fu Xuan had initially just wanted to enter the room and check if Su Jinyan was indeed present. She hadn't anticipated such a warm reception from March 7th.
Not only did she invite Fu Xuan inside with tea and refreshments but also expressed great admiration for her scholarly knowledge, eager to discuss learning further. This left Fu Xuan feeling slightly embarrassed yet flattered.
Everyone has their vanity, and Fu Xuan was no exception—she couldn't resist praise, especially when March 7th's compliments struck just the right chord. Unlike that traitorous disciple who would only rave about her delicate, snow-white feet being soft and fragrant, or her dainty frame with sweet, supple lips—all missing the mark entirely!
With pride, Fu Xuan puffed out her modest chest. "This venerable one originally had important matters to attend to," she declared. "However, since you're facing difficulties, I am willing to spare some time to help clarify your doubts."
What could possibly trouble March 7th? Her most pressing concern undoubtedly stemmed from her past. Yet even the Matrix of Prescience couldn't fully reveal little March's history.
Fortunately, engaging in conversation came naturally to March 7th; she excelled at witty banter. Even if she chattered incessantly by someone's side all day, they wouldn't find it irritating—it was simply part of March 7th's unique charm.
As their conversation flowed, the topic gradually shifted from Luofu's scenic attractions and local delicacies to Su Jinyan.
At the mention of Su Jinyan, Lady Fu Xuan became animated, enthusiastically recounting his past exploits to March 7th.
"...Can't say this venerable one doesn't have a keen eye for talent, can you?"
"Taking him as my disciple on a whim was truly the best decision I've ever made."
"Lady Fu Xuan, calling him your 'disciple' seems rather misleading," March 7th said with a chuckle, covering her mouth. "From what I see, it's more like you took in an unmarried husband."
"Cough, cough, don't be absurd." Fu Xuan's cheeks flushed slightly. "When this venerable one first accepted A-Yan as a disciple, there were no such intentions; truthfully, I even harbored some dislike towards him."
"At that time, A-Yan defeated Yanqing, dampening his spirit significantly, and Jing Yuan just happened to witness it."
"After giving it some thought, the idea of taking him as my disciple emerged. Firstly, because this venerable one appreciates talent."
"And secondly, it was merely a strategic move to compel the general to step down gracefully."
March 7th wore an expression of understanding, nodding knowingly. "Oh, I get it now—I'm quite the detective, aren't I?"
"Ever since our first encounter at the Palace of Astrum, Lady Fu Xuan, I had a feeling you might be his secret wife. You wouldn't admit it back then..."
Fu Xuan's face showed displeasure. "It's high time you tempered your impulsive nature."
"Who said this venerable one is A-Yan's secret wife?"
March 7th exclaimed with surprise, "Huh, really?"
Sir, you've already confessed your feelings for A-Yan—why can't you admit to being his concubine?
Fu Xuan spoke slowly, "Miss March, listen carefully. This venerable one will share a secret with you—a secret about A-Yan."
March 7th sat attentively, her expression showing keen interest.
"You may not be aware," Fu Xuan began, "that whether it's the evolution of natural laws or the cycles of human life, the talismans and principles behind the Matrix of Prescience Ultima were derived from the Omniscient Celestial Monarch. With sufficient information, this matrix can answer any question. Recently, through its divinations, this venerable one discovered that A-Yan is indeed my destined partner."
March 7th lightly pursed her lips, puzzled. "Can the Matrix of Prescience never make mistakes?"
"Make mistakes?" Fu Xuan replied proudly. "That is impossible. Since the inception of the Matrix, its divinatory results have never been incorrect. Don't let A-Yan's current flirtatious behavior deceive you; it's merely because this venerable one has yet to accept his marriage proposal."
A subtle look crossed March 7th's eyes. "Eh...?"
Su Jinyan, such a scoundrel, proposing to Lady Fu Xuan? Somehow, she found that hard to believe. Yet, who could truly say? After all, Su Jinyan had mentioned finding a suitable marriage candidate, hadn't he?
Could it be that earlier at the Ten-Lords Commission, when he secretly pulled Fu Xuan aside to discuss something, he was actually proposing marriage?
Fu Xuan continued, "In other words, this venerable one is A-Yan's sole wife."
"Once married to this venerable one, A-Yan will set aside such frivolous pursuits and earnestly assist me in becoming Luofu's general."
"At that time, as the general of Luofu, A-Yan would serve as my closest advisor."
"Together, our complementary strengths will ensure Luofu flourishes."
Confusion filled March 7th's eyes. "So here's the question," she said hesitantly. "Lady Fu Xuan, why haven't you accepted Su Jinyan's proposal?"
Regardless of how things stood between them, if both parties were interested, wouldn't getting married directly solve everything? What could possibly hold her back?
"Lady Fu Xuan, oh wise one, if I were you, I might have already accepted his proposal."
Clearly taken aback, Fu Xuan responded, "A...a very good question indeed."
"Sigh, truly, this venerable one wishes to give those women a chance to gracefully retreat."
"In front of me, they stand no chance whatsoever. Why burden them unnecessarily?"
March 7th remained silent.
Fu Xuan elaborated, "Let's take you as an example, Miss March. You like A-Yan."
March 7th hastily shook her head. "We don't like him."
Fu Xuan pondered for a moment before saying, "I mean, hypothetically speaking..."
"Suppose you have no chance against this venerable one while still liking A-Yan," Fu Xuan continued. "Wouldn't you be devastated if this venerable one married him?"
March 7th couldn't help but envision such a scenario. "I suppose I would indeed feel very sad."
Fu Xuan nodded slightly. "Excellent. Would you then give up on A-Yan?"
"Of course," March 7th replied matter-of-factly. "This young lady wouldn't pursue someone already taken."
"That fellow Su Jinyan has made his choice, after all."
"If he marries Lady Fu Xuan, why should I interfere? Naturally, as you well know, Lady Fu Xuan, we're merely friends at most."
Fu Xuan was highly satisfied. "If only Tingyun and the others were as sensible as you."
March 7th grew suspicious. "Lady Fu Xuan, it doesn't quite sound like a compliment to me."
With a serious expression, Fu Xuan said, "Don't overthink it; this venerable one is genuinely praising you."
The corners of March 7th's lips curled upward with delight. "Eh hee~ getting praised~"
A barely perceptible smile flickered across Fu Xuan's face—Miss March truly falls for compliments so easily. If only Tingyun and Xueyi could be just as susceptible.
Fu Xuan continued, "Miss March, your moral character is exceptionally noble, unlike those other women. This venerable one is deeply concerned that once A-Yan and I marry:
"Even if he restrains himself, Tingyun and her companions might deliberately tempt him into infidelity.
"Therefore, when dealing with these women like Tingyun, this venerable one must maintain a delicate balance."
"A delicate balance?"
"Yes, we mustn't push them too hard, lest they become desperate and take drastic measures."
"And by showcasing the close bond between A-Yan and this venerable one, we can deter them from pursuing further."
March 7th's thoughts began to swirl with suspicion. Could Lady Fu Xuan be subtly warning me by sharing these insights?
"Uh, Lady Fu Xuan, although I don't fully understand such matters..."
"It seems quite challenging, doesn't it?"
"I doubt Miss Tingyun and her friends would back down easily, wouldn't you agree?"
Fu Xuan gently sipped her tea. "Indeed, it is highly difficult."
"Despite this venerable one's extensive reading and exceptional knowledge,"
"in the realm of romance, there remains much to learn."
"However, with Qingque providing strategies for this venerable one, progress should significantly accelerate."
"So that's how it is. Well then, Miss Qingque truly must be extraordinary," March 7th remarked.
Fu Xuan nodded. "Qingque indeed is remarkable."
As the saying goes: When cunning rabbits die, hunting dogs meet their end; once birds have flown away, fine bows are stored away.
Once Qingque and I join forces to deter the other women, the final obstacle left will be Qingque herself.
Hmph, compared to me, she's still quite inexperienced.
Buzz buzz—
At this moment, March 7th finally received Stelle's text message:
[Trash Diver Today: Sorry, little March, my phone wasn't with me just now.]
[Zhao Camera: When are you coming back? It's so boring alone here. Can you bear leaving this maiden to languish by herself in bed?]
[Trash Diver Today: I might have to stay overnight at Kafka's place tonight.]
Stay overnight? Why? Could that sly Kafka have tricked her somehow?
March 7th's guard instantly rose as she hurriedly asked for the reason behind the overnight stay.
[Trash Diver Today: My precious derrière, pampered since birth, is feeling rather sore.]
[Zhao Camera: Huh?]
[Trash Diver Today: That jerk Su Jinyan, all because of a harmless prank I played on him...]
[I didn't expect he would actually...]
[Zhao Camera: What did he do?!?]
[Today's Dumpster Diving: Forget it, this is too humiliating; better not to mention it.]
[But my delicate buttocks still hurt immensely. I need to go dumpster diving for some relief.]
March 7th stared at her phone screen, suddenly feeling short of breath.
Could that jerk Su Jinyan really be so despicable? No way, as his friend, I must check on him. Stelle is my best buddy after all.
If it turns out like that, he'd better pay dearly, no matter what it takes.
"Miss March, your complexion seems quite pale," Fu Xuan observed with concern.
"Lady Fu Xuan, do you know about the Stellaron Hunter: Kafka?"
"This venerable one certainly does. Kafka, a dangerous woman indeed."
"She's the last person A-Yan should get close to."
After hesitating momentarily, March 7th slowly spoke up, "I wanted to tell you something important."
"Tonight, Kafka invited Su Jinyan and our companion over to her place."
Fu Xuan abruptly stood up. "Why didn't you say anything sooner?"
March 7th cleared her throat, "Well, I just remembered now."
In Silver Wolf's bedroom.
"As you can see, this is a fighting game," she said. "Let me explain the rules—we're playing best of one, a 'father-son' match."
"The loser has to call the winner 'dad.' Of course, since I'm female, you can also address me as 'mom' if you prefer." Silver Wolf handed him a cup of ice-cold cola.
Su Jinyan took a sip, raising an eyebrow. "Damn, that's quite arrogant. Don't come crying for mercy when I beat you soundly later," he teased. "And remember, no cheating—got it? You know, Kafka owes me a favor."
"If you cheat tonight, regardless of any sounds coming from this room, she'll pretend not to hear or notice anything." The corner of Silver Wolf's lips curled up as her physical form instantly shifted into a quantum projection. "Please trust me on this."
"I've watched you rise step by step, from an obscure little diviner to becoming the Diviner itself. Do you really think I wouldn't take precautions around you?" Silver Wolf continued with a hint of frustration.
Smiling faintly, Su Jinyan responded, "Dear Miss Silver Wolf, it seems you anticipated my thoughts perfectly. But surely you didn't expect that I had already predicted your anticipation?"
Silver Wolf frowned. "What do you mean?"
Su Jinyan pointed to his eyes and said, "I recently developed a new eye technique—the Gaze of Love."
"Anyone seen by these eyes will be compelled to fall in love with me."
Silver Wolf's expression stiffened. "You wouldn't use it on me, would you?"
Su Jinyan replied mildly, "Actually, you've already fallen for it; you just haven't realized yet."
Chewing her gum, Silver Wolf deactivated the quantum projection. "Is that so?"
In the next moment, she grabbed Su Jinyan's collar and pulled him close.
Their faces were now inches apart due to her action.
At this proximity, if he wished, he could effortlessly capture Silver Wolf's lips.
Silver Wolf gently parted her lips. "Then, A-Yan, have you ever considered something?"
"As an Ether Editor, I can modify reality data. What if your fondness towards me has actually been altered by me?"
Su Jinyan whispered, "Silver Wolf, I won't deny your capabilities. I believe you indeed can alter others' affection levels. But when it comes to me, you cannot succeed. Want to try and prove me wrong?
"My feelings for you stem entirely from my own subjective consciousness, unaffected by any data manipulation you might attempt."
Silver Wolf released Su Jinyan's collar, revealing a charming smile. "Hmph, consider yourself passed—for now."
"I haven't mastered such advanced technology yet."
"Of course, who knows if I might in the future? You should be cautious," Su Jinyan warned with a light laugh.
"How so? Are you trying to increase my fondness for you?" he asked teasingly. "Honestly, my affection towards you is already at its peak; any more and it would overflow."
Silver Wolf gently poked his chest with her pale fingers, clearly unimpressed.
"Is that right? Do you usually charm girls with these lines?"
"Now, what if I could modify Fu Xuan and others' affection towards you instead? How would you handle that?"
Su Jinyan confidently replied, "You wouldn't dare."
"Why not?" Silver Wolf questioned, perplexed.
Slowly advancing on Silver Wolf, Su Jinyan cornered her against the wall. "If you were to do such a thing, it would signify the end of our friendship, reaching its ultimate demise."
"So, you don't dare, am I correct?"
A hint of indignation flickered in Silver Wolf's eyes. "Who said I wouldn't dare? It's just...just that I haven't mastered that ability yet."
"And if you did master it? Would you use it?" Su Jinyan pressed.
"Even if I truly gained that capability, I wouldn't bother using it."
"At the end of the day, what does it matter to me who among those girls likes you?" Silver Wolf displayed clear disdain.
"Surely you don't think I envy them? How laughable."
"I'm merely concerned those women might distract you from developing 'Three Kingdoms Killer,' that's all. Understand?"
Su Jinyan stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Darling, should we add another stake to this bet?"
Silver Wolf agreed readily. "Fine, go ahead and suggest it."
Su Jinyan looked at her with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Whoever loses must unconditionally obey one command from the winner."
The corners of Silver Wolf's mouth couldn't help but curve upwards. "Heh, stakes delivered right to me—why not take advantage?"
"Let's be clear, if I win, there will be no backing out," Su Jinyan warned.
"No matter what command I give, you must comply."
When Su Jinyan saw the chosen fighting game on the arcade machine, he couldn't help but momentarily freeze.
Oh no, he was completely unfamiliar with this particular game and had never played it before. He had only focused on Silver Wolf's lack of gaming skills, failing to consider that she might select a game he wasn't versed in—namely, "The King of Fighters 99: The Gathering" edition.
Silver Wolf snorted lightly, "What's wrong? Scared now?"
"It's not too late to admit defeat; I could consider giving you a lighter punishment."
Su Jinyan retorted mockingly, "Even if I've never touched this game before, there's no way I'll lose to a newbie like you."
Silver Wolf manipulated the joystick, selecting three characters—a drunken old man carrying a wine gourd, an idol teenage girl, and a mechanical warrior.
Su Jinyan chose a voluptuous dancer, a frenzied bassist, and a sweeping monk.
An intense battle was about to unfold.
Initially, Silver Wolf took the lead due to his familiarity with the game, gaining an advantage of one character ahead.
However, Su Jinyan quickly caught up, vigorously shaking the joystick as they fiercely matched each other's moves, neck and neck.
Cold sweat subtly traced down both Silver Wolf's and Su Jinyan's cheeks.
The loser would have to unconditionally obey the winner's command.
Although not legally binding, anyone daring to renege after losing would leave a deeply negative impression on their opponent.
Soon, it came down to the final round.
Silver Wolf's lips curved slightly, starting to exert pressure on Su Jinyan.
"A-Yan, if I win, I'll make you stay away from Tingyun, Fu Xuan, and all your girlfriends for a whole day."
"I really want to see their tearful and distressed expressions."
Su Jinyan remained silent.
The game's referee announced the official start of the match.
Su Jinyan's Monk character still had half a health bar remaining, while Silver Wolf's Wine Gourd Elder maintained full health.
Immediately upon starting, Su Jinyan's Monk unleashed his burst mode, swiftly flashing behind the Wine Gourd Elder and seizing the opportunity to execute Ultimate Battle Art: Autumn Wind Sweeping Leaves.
During such an ultimate attack, the targeted character enters a rigid state, unable to counteract.
In a low voice, Su Jinyan said, "Sweetheart, if I win, don't call me 'dad' anymore."
"Instead, address me as 'Master', and make sure Kafka hears it too."
"And of course, you'll have to be my girlfriend for a whole day."
Silver Wolf felt uneasy and restless.
After this burst of ultimate moves, the Wine Gourd Elder's health bar instantly dropped by one-third.
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang!
Both players vigorously shook their joysticks and pounded on buttons amidst intense gameplay.
Whether it was Su Jinyan or Silver Wolf, they both appeared highly nervous.
Their characters' health bars had significantly depleted, reaching a critically low stage.
One more mistake from either side would instantly lead to defeat by a combo.
We can't lose, absolutely not.
As they exchanged glances, seeing the malice in each other's eyes only reinforced this determination.
Now both players became exceedingly cautious, preferring to stay defensively cornered and block rather than risk initiating an attack first.
Su Jinyan quickly devised a plan—use an unconventional move!
The rules stated no cheating, but it didn't say anything about employing unorthodox tactics, right?
Coincidentally, Silver Wolf had the same idea forming in her mind.
Without hesitation, they simultaneously abandoned their defensive stances and launched attacks on each other's characters.
However, these were feints; intentionally exposing vulnerabilities to lure the opponent.
Bang—
In perfect sync, both kicked over the creaking stools beneath each other.
Su Jinyan blinked in surprise. Silver Wolf mirrored his reaction.
Being trained under the same master, they knew each other's tricks too well.
Almost simultaneously, they fell to the ground, staring at each other in disbelief.
Wait, resorting to such unsportsmanlike tactics even while gaming? Can't we maintain some dignity?
This thought echoed almost concurrently in both their minds.
But wait—
The game isn't over yet!
Realizing this deadlock, both Su Jinyan and Silver Wolf instinctively sprang to their feet, attempting to seize control of the game joystick for the final victory.
However, Silver Wolf had fallen closer to the joystick.
If she reached it first, it would mean game over for him.
Without hesitation, Su Jinyan abandoned his pursuit of the joystick. Instead, he swiftly leaped forward, wrapped his arms around Silver Wolf's smooth, voluptuous legs, and began nuzzling them affectionately with his cheek.
But Silver Wolf's determination surpassed his expectations. Despite her flushed face from embarrassment, her delicate hands remained steadfastly reaching towards the game joystick.
Are you forcing me to use my ultimate move?
Feeling humiliated yet resigned, Su Jinyan reluctantly employed his last resort.
Slap!
A crisp sound echoed through the room.
Thud—
Caught off guard by the sudden strike, Silver Wolf collapsed onto the floor.
Furious, her body went limp, and she trembled as she exclaimed, "That's cheating, isn't it?! Who plays games like this?"
Su Jinyan smiled faintly and slowly rose to his feet. "Only those willing to employ any means can emerge victorious."
"Silver Wolf, you've lost—"
Thud—
Before Su Jinyan could finish his sentence, just like Silver Wolf, he found himself uncontrollably collapsing onto the ground.
At that moment, the timer for this round of the game hit zero—an unexpected draw.
Staring at his unresponsive legs, Su Jinyan asked uncertainly, "Silver Wolf, what did you do to me?"
Silver Wolf wrinkled their adorable little nose and replied, "Did you really think I was just a simple hacker?"
"Haven't I mentioned before that I can manipulate real-world data?"
"It's quite straightforward; I deleted your central control authority over your legs."
"However, it lasts only one minute, which is my limit already."
Still bewildered, Su Jinyan questioned, "And you can achieve this out of nowhere?"
Silver Wolf shook their head. "Of course not. You're very strong, so I needed a medium."
"Do you remember the cup of icy cola I handed you earlier?"
"That cola was created by me. After drinking it, I gained the ability to control your body and modify its data."
"Luckily, I remained cautious; if you hadn't tried cheating, I wouldn't have done this to you."
Su Jinyan defended himself, "Can playing games be considered cheating?"
"All reasonable means outside the game are allowed."
"Even with flawless combos in the arcade, one must always be prepared for disgruntled players who might retaliate out of frustration—it's common sense."
Silver Wolf nodded in agreement. "You're right; let's call this game a draw."
"Wanna play another round?"
Su Jinyan smiled faintly, and behind him, a brilliant Treasured Radiance shimmered.
Instantly, all his negative status effects were lifted.
With a swift motion, Su Jinyan rose and pinned Silver Wolf onto the soft bed.
Rubbing her eyes, Silver Wolf seemed incredulous. "Huh?"
"It can't be! I clearly deleted your access to control my legs."
Su Jinyan leaned close to Silver Wolf's snow-white earlobe, gently whispering, "The night is long, sleep evades me."
"Honey, I think we should engage in something more interesting instead."
Silver Wolf indignantly pushed his cheek away. "Amateur, you couldn't even beat me at games, yet you want to do anything else?"
Su Jinyan replied, "If it weren't for your cheating, I would have won just now."
Enraged, Silver Wolf flipped them over, pinning him beneath her. "And you dare accuse me? Weren't you cheating too?"
Staring intently at her creamy, fair complexion, Su Jinyan appeared mesmerized.
Blushing, Silver Wolf avoided his gaze. "What are you looking at?"
"What's there to look at? Haven't you seen a brilliant hacker and beautiful young girl before?"
Su Jinyan murmured softly, "Silver Wolf, don't you think we're quite compatible?"
Without a word, Silver Wolf put on her specialized goggles and glanced briefly at Su Jinyan's body data.
Then, with evident irritation, she said, "The data shows that currently, one particular part of your body has the highest thermal energy value."
"Come on, tell me honestly—are your feelings for me purely spiritual or driven by physical attraction?"
Su Jinyan blinked. "Both, actually."
Silver Wolf raised a finger and gently pressed it against his lips. "You're lying; let's not talk about liking each other."
"Admit it, you just want my body, plain and simple."
Confused, Su Jinyan asked, "How do you expect me to prove this to you then?"
"I'll ask you a question first—do you feel like we're very compatible?"
With a slight blush, Silver Wolf silently nodded.
Su Jinyan's gaming style, along with his disregard for conventional rules, mirrored hers perfectly, aligning well with her preferences.
"Here's another question—for tonight's game, did you find it exhilarating?"
"Yes, it's been a long time since I encountered such a well-matched opponent."
"Of course, it would have been even more enjoyable if you let me win," Silver Wolf replied.
Su Jinyan's voice took on a seductive tone. "Then why hesitate? We're quite compatible and share similar interests."
"I like you, and I can tell you feel the same way about me, don't you?"
"There's no need to rush indeed. How about this - give me a kiss first, showing that you genuinely do have feelings for me."
"As long as you kiss me, I promise not to touch you again tonight," Su Jinyan assured her.
Silver Wolf hesitated. "Deal? After the kiss, we'll stay up all night gaming together?"
Su Jinyan nodded. "Absolutely, I'll game with you all night unless my Shizun shows up unexpectedly."
Pouting discontentedly, Silver Wolf retorted, "Ugh, sounds so awful! What 'unexpectedly'? We're perfectly innocent here."
Under Su Jinyan's expectant gaze, Silver Wolf slowly closed her beautiful eyes, preparing to kiss him on the cheek.
Bang, bang, bang!
The sudden noise outside startled both of them.
"Stellaron Hunter Kafka, open the door quickly."
"This venerable one's patience is limited; don't force me to break it down."
Silver Wolf's mustered courage instantly evaporated.
"A-Yan, maybe another time—mmph!"
Silver Wolf's pupils contracted sharply.
Su Jinyan had taken the initiative, pressing his lips against hers.
To make matters more audacious, this was unmistakably her first kiss. Yet, Su Jinyan's kissing technique was remarkably skilled, causing her to involuntarily become entranced by the moment.
Outside the mansion's gate, Fu Xuan, with a serious expression, began counting down.
"Three..."
"Two..."
