"Eh?"
Liu Zheng let out a sound of surprise.
When he dipped his hand into the boiling liquid, it wasn't scalding hot; in fact, he even felt a trace of coolness.
And the texture of the liquid wasn't as sticky as it appeared to be, it rather felt like playing with bubble solution.
"Aren't you going to fish it out, what are you waiting for?"
Elder Qing urged.
"I didn't scoop up anything."
Liu Zheng scooped a few times, and spoke with confusion.
"Just use your hands to hold it and lift it out."
Elder Qing said.
"Oh, okay."
He clasped his hands together and scooped it out from the pot.
A piece of black substance resembling a brain appeared in his hands, while the pot turned into a pool of clear water.
Liu Zheng cautiously shook it twice, the black brain-like object slightly jiggling in his hand and emitting a faint fragrance like foil-roasted brain.
"What is this?"
He asked with curiosity.
"Don't you recognize it just by looking at it."
"Is it really a brain?"
