Yu King gathered copper from Jiuzhou to cast the Nine Cauldrons.
He had artisans use female gold for the Yin Tripods and male gold for the Yang Tripods.
Corresponding to Jiuzhou: Jun State, Yan State, Yu State, Dai State, Jiangzhou, Huai State, Qiongzhou, Liangzhou, and Yong State.
Of all the Yu-cast Nine Cauldrons, five were made as Yang Tripods using the Yingyang Method, and four as Yin Tripods, symbolizing the Yin count.
The knowledge inscribed on the Nine Cauldrons is the foundation of the Nine Soldiers and is also the earliest activated knowledge, the Slaughter Science!
It is said that after the cauldrons were completed, for nine consecutive days there appeared the auspicious sign of Gold Star Taibai shining in the daylight.
The cauldrons evolved from being containers, cooking utensils, sacrificial vessels, ritual artifacts, to treasures, divine artifacts, completely changing their practical use to become sacred items worshipped by the nation.
