Quintus stared intently at the figure on the wooden stage, a growing sense of foreboding in his heart. He felt that this person might one day become a great threat to the Silver Moon Church.

If he had discovered this earlier, perhaps an opportunity to study at the Temple could have made the Universal Language teacher grateful and dedicated his life to serving the Church.
But trying to win over Anton now would clearly cost more than a trivial effort.
As a commoner himself, Quintus could actually relate well to the Universal Language teacher and saw much of himself in the other man.
If he hadn't stood out back then, he guessed he would be like Anton now, still somewhere teaching the children of some obscure small family how to spell in Universal Language.
