"Yes, I had someone look into it a little, and the town's priest indeed sent those cursed to a manor outside the city, forbidding them from leaving," Jude said.
"But it seems they are incapable of completely dispelling the curse, for Harvest Corner still has people falling under its spell from time to time, and even the nearby towns have begun to be affected."
"Such a powerful curse?" Ireya exclaimed in surprise.
"If this is true, then we should leave here immediately," Ferdinand said with a serious expression.
"I'll have someone buy food and supplies in a while, and once everything arrives, we can start our journey. We could rest in the next town, or perhaps even travel further."
"All right," Ireya said. "It looks like our vacation will have to be put on hold for now. We'll make up for it once we're in a safe place."
The lady had already made up her mind, however, trouble arose during the stage of recalling their people.
